I wrote this song tonight and decided to give it a try. The looper is a new piece of gear for me. It allows me to record one section at a time, overlaying it on the move. I had a ton of fun with it and was inspired to write this tune. I think it turned out pretty good.

Our Doberman Pinscher is named Kruz. He has become the hall monitor of sorts for our cats. He doesn't allow them to scratch the furniture or be fight each other. Today our lazy cat decided to stretch out and knock a Salt Shaker to the floor. Our Doberman immediately alerted me to the destruction. He takes his role very seriously. He never harms the cats, but will bark at them. Lately the cats have become immune to his bark and are learning that he will not hurt them, so he comes to get me for help controlling them.

In 2016 I was working as a Deputy Sheriff in West Virginia. I learned of a family in need from a friend. I made a post asking for community donations without mentioning the family. Ironically the lady who was to receive the gifts shared the post not knowing it was about her family. These kids were excited to see the police show up at the door. It was one of the good days as an officer.

Kruz is our 5 year old Doberman Pinscher. He is usually calm and relaxed at home. He suddenly became protective and aggressive toward what appeared to him to be an intruder in the bathroom. He saved his owner from the toilet paper monster.

The legend of the Devils Tea table has been around for generations. Some say they were built by Native American Indians as lookout posts for burial grounds. Others claim that the Devil himself sits down for tea. I use my drone to get a close up view of this otherwise inaccessible rock formation at the top of the mountain.

The memorial display for the American covid victims is awe inspiring. It draws to your attention to the huge scope of the loss of life.
