Think it's going to be a ripper! I barely hit 1/2 throttle in the clip here. I need to tighten everything down and get a body! I installed a Hobbywing ESC and motor combo. 4000 Kv, 3652, 72 tooth, 32 pitch Robinson Racing spur an 18 or 19 tooth pinion, I forget. Seems to be the right choice so far! So great to see this 30+ year old T-Maxx come back to new life!

First shakedown run of the T-Maxx 2.5 Nitro to Electric conversion. Just checking basic electronics functions. Success! A lot more video to come after I get this bad-boy all buttoned up! I just finished up the install of a HobbyWing ESC / 4000 Kv setup. I'll provide a full parts list later.

Kyosho Mad Van - First Run w/ Sound Module - CRANK IT UP!

The motor or ESC seems to keep overheating and cutting out. I've seen a lot of the same problem being encountered by others with the same car. So, I installed a cooling fan. Have a look. I'll follow up after a test run to see if it did the trick or not.

Had this little guy in my tucked away in my garage for some time now. I forgot I even had it! Pulled out of an old box, dusted it off, added some oil-filled shocks and a new battery (2S LiPo 7.4V 1800mAH), and off she went! Good as new. Should be a fun addition to the collection. A real stable little rock bouncer. I didn't put it much to the test, but I'm out to have fun, not break stuff! Well, not yet anyway :) Stuned tuned, more RC Evolution fun to come!

KYRC RC Car Sound Module Installed into The Mad Van - Crank up the volume!

Quick Demo (not a how-to) of the KYRC Model Sound Simulator (Dual Speaker). 10 Engine Sounds, 4 or 5 Horn Sounds, Brake Sounds. Plenty of options. I set this one up for my Kyosho Mad Van. I'll follow up when I get it all jammed in the van :)

Made a few minor upgrades to the WLToys A959-B. Bigger tires, metal wheels, metal turnbuckles, ball bearings, cooling fans. ESC or motor is still overheating. Need to upgrade that. Motor is a beast. I didn't go beyongd 3/4 throttle.

A few short shake-down runs with the A959-B. I didn't use over 3/4 throttle. Zippy little thing, ain't it? Upgrades: Bigger, metal wheels and tires; engine cooling fins (still ESC or motor is still over heating), ball bearings, 1500 mAH, 2S, 50C battery.
