Myself and friend, ‘Caboose’ tackle Death Valley. Incredible National Park. Tremendous beauty and diversity of landscapes. Some of the park seems like you’re on another planet. I highly recommend taking a visit anytime other than May-September. At elevation in the park the temperature was cold in the 40s and windy. At the lowest elevation point in North America, the temperature was a comfortable 70

Independence Day Weekend 19 mile hike at Mount Charleston west of Las Vegas.

A 72 mile hike through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on the Appalachian Trail cut short because of torrential rains and severe weather. Still a great hike and will attempt again someday. TAKE A HIKE!
