There are so many different ways to increase your immune system's capabilities. That's why I wanted to give you my top 5 ways to boost your immune system. 1. Sunlight. Vitamin D and bright light are so important for well functioning humans. We need light, we thrive off of it. When we don't have light, things can go wrong. Our immune system gets thrown off and so does our circadian rythym. Exposing yourself to bright light is an easy way to get rid of this. If you live in an area that doesn't have much light, I recommend using a red light. https://mitoredlight.com/?rfsn=348302... 2. Grounding I'm a massive proponent of touching mother earth with bare skin and allowing the healing properties to take hold. By grounding or earthing, you actually help balance your positive and negative ions leading to calcium gated ion channels closing (whereas prolonged exposure to emfs can leave them open.) Getting in daily movement and exercise keeps the body in a productive state and allows you to control the stressors you get daily. This in turn leads to adaptive growth and a stronger more resilent immune system. 4. Our immune systems are very strong and can adapt to countless pathogens. Sometimes however, through poor diet, stress, & other factors, it can be weakened. Here is one way to boost your immune system.This tea is loaded with antioxidants, and vitamins with lemon, cinnamon, ginger and turmeric. Don't forget to add pepper and some kind of fat to enhance the absorption of the turmeric. That way you will get the full anti inflammatory benefits of the turmeric and ginger. Turmeric Tea Ingredients: 5 cups water 2 inches of turmeric root, thinly sliced, or grated with skin on 1 to 2 inches of ginger root, thinly sliced or grated ½ tsp. Cinnamon 1 organic lemon, peeled and then juiced, try not to peel the white part. Few cracks of pepper Coconut oil Honey Directions: Pour the 5 cups of water into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until it just comes to a boil. Add the turmeric, ginger, pepper, cinnamon, and lemon peel and simmer for 10 minutes. Do not boil. Pour the tea through a fine strainer into a large bowl or large measuring cup. Add the juice from 1 lemon and stir. At this point you can pour a cup of tea and add 1 tsp. Coconut oil or butter (some kind of fat) and 1 tsp. of honey, stir and enjoy. The rest of the tea can be stored in a mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Each time you heat up some tea, just add some coconut oil and honey for your serving.
