Snowmobiling Idaho - Hit Mountain Trail
Not my normal video but I got the chance to hit the Idaho backcountry on snowmobiles and though I would document our adventure. We went up to an old abandoned ski resort on the Hit Mountain Trail.
The snow was pretty deep and I was very out of practice. I spent a good amount of time getting unstuck, but the ride was well worth it. Great day all around.

Why Teslas Suck! Don't Buy It
So recently, Andrew got himself a Tesla Model 3, only to be sorely disappointed. We went over a bunch of the reasons why he hates his new tesla to help others avoid the same mistake. Elon should take notes. we showed a variety of things including car washes, First drives, off-roading and Drive-by shooting tests.
Bottom line, it just sucks. Thanks for watching!

The Woodshed - Channel Trailer 2022
I've done a lot since my last channel trailer, so I decided to update it a little bit for the new year, 2022. I added my propane cylinder rocket launch explosions, fire arrows, Tesla review, snowmobiling trip, pumpkin destruction, fireballs, torch throwing, and much more to the trailer.
In it's current state, I think it's a pretty good representation of what my friends and I are doing on the channel. It may look like a whole lot of nonsense, because... it truly is. A lot of the stuff we do are things that we always wanted to do as kids, but never had the time or resources. If anything in this video appeals to you, hit that subscribe button and come along for the ride! We'd love to have you.

Improved Fire Arrow - Head to Head Comparison
In the last video, we tried to compare 5 different fuels. We ended up with 2 that outperformed the others. Those were Lighter Fluid and PVC Glue. In this video we wanted to improve the performance and design of the fire arrow itself, as well as prove which of those top 3 fuels was actually Ideal for fire arrows.
I think that the main takeaway from this is that the temperature has a pretty big affect on how well they perform. Also, guns are always better, bottom line. Although, fire arrows are still really cool. Maybe we'll do more fire arrow stuff in the future.
Let me know below if that's something you would be interested in!
What is the Best Fuel For Fire Arrows?
Fire Arrows are something that has always fascinated me and something that I've always wanted to experiment with. We always see them in movies and video games. Stuff like Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, Far Cry, Minecraft... Pretty much anything with a bow has them.
I figured this whole filming thing would be a good excuse to finally make that happen. The main problem I always saw with fire arrows, and how they would actually work, was whether you could actually get them to stay lit until reaching the target.
We went up to the farm and tested 5 fuels to see which was the most effective. We made some homemade simple fire arrows with t-shirts and wire, then covered them in:
- Lighter Fluid
- Acetone
- Goof Off
- Rubbing Alcohol
- PVC Glue
In the end, we had one result was expected, and one that really surprised us. Stay tuned for a follow up video to compare the top 2 fuels that we found in this video in more intense tests.
Thanks for watching!

We Made a Roman Siege Weapon - Homemade Ballista
I've always been fascinated by Ancient Roman technology, especially their weapons. Ballista's and Siege Weapons in general are especially cool to me. So naturally, when I was able to get a bunch of free wood a few months ago, I immediately opened Fusion360 and modeled up a working homemade Ballista.
We had a lot of fun making this even though it didn't go exactly as planned.

HomeMade Propane Rockets - 2nd Attempt
Here is our 2nd attempt at making homemade propane rockets out of propane gas cylinders.
This time I took the propane cylinder and put it in a 3 inch pipe with only the threads, our target, coming out of the bottom. I secured that pipe to a fence post and lit a small gasoline fire underneath it.
The thought was that if I was able to shoot the threads on the propane canister, the escaping gas would catch fire and launch it like a rocket out of the top of the pipe.
After several attempts, we were able to get it to work. There might be a better way to do this and we may come back for an attempt number 3 in the future. Thanks for watching!

Making Rockets with a Propane Cylinder
We had some old map gas cans lying around and had the question of whether they could be used to create a rocket! Or, shoot off like a rocket?
Our idea was simple; light a fire under the propane cylinder with the threads facing down, and shoot the bottom of it. The thought was that maybe the escaping gas would catch on fire and propel the cylinder upward like a rocket?
Maybe it was a dumb idea but the results were spectacular. Not what we were trying to accomplish, but totally epic. You could say fail, but wasn't it more of a win?

23 Ways to Destroy a Pumpkin
So, here we are, in the same spot as every year. Halloween has passed and now we're left with a pile of moldy pumpkins on your porch. This is our step by step or DIY guide for how you can get rid of those nasty pumpkins after the holiday.
In this video, we go through our favorite and most destructive ways of disposing of those pumpkins once and for all. We did everything from smashing them, running them over, punching them till they explode, drop them from a 100 foot tower, hold a carving competition, hit them with shotguns, and finally blow them up with exploding targets.
Use this video as a guide next Halloween because we definitely had a ton of fun making it.

Can You Use T-Shirts as Body Armor?
I set out on this quest to figure out if I could actually stop bullets with T-shirts. I wanted to see if, In a moment of dire need, someone could use them as a form of homemade or DIY body armor. In classic Demolition Ranch fashion I started with a small caliber and moved my way up, adding more shirts as the bullets went through.
This video is another example of a shooting experiment that surprised me. I thought the outcome would be very different. In classic Woodshed fashion though, the shirts and mannequin may have gone out with a spectacular bang.

We Put an Exploding Target inside a Solid Block of Concrete!!!
This week, my cousin Chuck made his first appearance on the channel We answered the question of what happens when you shoot a solid block of concrete with a 1 pound exploding target inside! The target we used was a 1 pound sonic boom exploding target, similar to tannerite. We wanted to see if it would actually explode or just crack the block of concrete. The result was way bigger than we imagined.

Can Textbooks Stop Bullets?
I took some old textbooks and did a test to see how many of them it would take to stop a bullet. I started with a 12 gauge and worked my way up through .22lr, 9mm, 45 ACP, 5.56, and 6.5 creedmoor. I actually had a ton of fun making this video.
These books were severely water damaged and stained from being left outside for almost a decade, so they were no good anyways, don't worry. I still wouldn't try to use textbooks as bulletproof body armor, but it seems like 2 of them will stop most pistol rounds!
Let me know if you have any similar ideas you would like to see me do down below!
