Mortal Kombat 1 Exclusive: KERRI HOSKINS will RETURN AS OG SONYA BLADE! (INSIDE SOURCE)
Last fall marked the 25th anniversary of one of the best fighting games of all-time; Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. One of the people contributing to making it awesome, was Kerri Ann Hoskins playing Sonya Blade, and she recently jumped into the Sonya outfit again for some pictures.
But it turns out this might not be the last time we get to enjoy Hoskins in the role as Sonya, as she wants to be in a video game again. She revealed this in the JanHalmes podcast, where she says she "would love to be in video games again", while also adding "that's my legacy".
As Sonya Blade is roughly the same age as Kerri Ann Hoskins (51) in Mortal Kombat 11, it would be really fitting to see her likeness in Mortal Kombat 1, or what do you think?

Mortal Kombat : Earthrealm INVADED By Outworld, Lui Kang & Kitana Looking For Cyber Lin kuei
Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm (also known as Mortal Kombat: The Animated Series) is an animated series based on the popular Mortal Kombat fighting game series. It aired on the USA Network's "USA Cartoon Express" animation block for one season of 13 episodes from September to December of 1996.
The characters and their back-stories are mostly continuous with the movie Mortal Kombat albeit with some minor differences. The characters’ designs are modeled after how they looked in Mortal Kombat 3 the Arcade game. The series takes place in Earthrealm, Outworld, and various other realms after the events of the first movie and the plot has very little to do with the plot of any of the games. Perhaps the most notable aspect of the show was that it provided the debut appearance of Quan Chi, who became a key character in the MK series, namely in Mortal Kombat 4 and Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
The show was focused on a group of warriors assembled by Raiden to defend Earthrealm from invaders of various other dimensions that entered through portals. The assembled warriors included Liu Kang, Kurtis Stryker, Sonya Blade, Jax Briggs, Kitana, and the younger Sub-Zero, with Nightwolf functioning mostly as tech support. The warriors operated out of a hidden base from where Nightwolf and Raiden monitored portal openings; the warriors would fly dragon-shaped jets to deal with disturbances. Shao Kahn was something of an arc villain throughout the series, being responsible for allowing other realms to invade Earthrealm. The finale involved Kitana leading a rebellion from Outworld against her stepfather, Shao Kahn.

Mortal Kombat 1 Exclusive: KAMEOS EXPLAINED, MORE COMING VIA MOBILE CONNECTION TO ONSLAUGHT + MORE!
The Mortal Kombat franchise has existed for almost three decades by now, and in that time, it's spawned a list of highly popular and recognizable characters. Foundational to that popularity is that this cast all met or continued to meet at a particular moment when Earthrealm's future seemed to be at its most bleak.
It's worth noting that all of the games are built upon a great deal of history that precedes the events of even the first Mortal Kombat game. One such legendary character important to the early history of the Mortal Kombat series is the Great Kung Lao.
His life was important in altering the trajectory of the fate of Earthrealm, and in death his importance to the world was made even more important. We'll discuss this character and play around with some interesting possibilities regarding a story that is different for him in this video.
Both the Mortal Kombat and Injustice franchises are still yet to come out with new installments. However, some fans suggest that a new Mortal Kombat game is possibly in Development. The reason behind this speculation is because of a job listing fans found for NetherRealm Studios. These listings that fans have been sharing specifically pertain to a martial arts fighting game. Thus, the assumption of a new Mortal Kombat game being developed.
No official announcements for Mortal Kombat 12 or Injustice 3 are out yet, however, a job listing may have just gotten Mortal Kombat 12 leaked, or it may be Injustice 3 leaked.

Honestly speaking, relying on a job listing isn’t necessarily the best way to identify what game is in development. Fans should also take note of the fact that Mortal Kombat isn’t the only martial arts fighting game NetherRealm has. Injustice, despite being a superhero combat game, is also considered a martial arts fighting game. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Injustice already has two installments, and still a growing player base. Fans of the Injustice franchise have also been long awaiting a third installment of the game.
Let’s not forget that there’s also a possibility that NetherRealm studios could introduce a new IP. Since the studio is well known for fighting games, it’ll be interesting to see a new creation from the team. One thing is for sure though, a new fighting game is in development. For now, we just have to wait and see what exactly is NetherRealm Studios working on, and whether or not the job listing did get Mortal Kombat 12 leaked.
Netherrealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the 12th main installment in the main series and will be released in April 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch.
Like the previous game, Mortal Kombat 12 will feature the previous fighting mechanics with a new online mode called 'One to 100', a mode where one player faces off against 100 players on King of the Hill with special mystery buffs or debuffs.
Mortal Kombat 12 will also hold previous DLC guest characters from MKX, MK11 and MK9 as well as new guest characters. The only confirmed guest character so far is Michael Myers, but it has been hinted other 4 new characters for Kombat Pack 1.

Mortal Kombat 12: Did Cassie The Sinnok Slayer Hint At The 1st Female DLC Character? (Theory)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is an American supernatural drama television series based on the 1992 film of the same name. It was created by Joss Whedon under his production tag, Mutant Enemy Productions, with later co-executive producers being Jane Espenson, David Fury, David Greenwalt, Doug Petrie, Marti Noxon, and David Solomon.
The series premiered on March 10, 1997, on The WB and concluded on May 20, 2003, on UPN. The series narrative follows Buffy Summers (played by Sarah Michelle Gellar), the latest in a line of young women known as "Vampire Slayers", or simply "Slayers". In the story, Slayers, or the "Chosen Ones", are chosen by fate to battle against vampires, demons and other forces of darkness. Buffy wants to live a normal life, but as the series progresses, she learns to embrace her destiny. Like previous Slayers, Buffy is aided by a Watcher, who guides, teaches and trains her. Unlike her predecessors, Buffy surrounds herself with a circle of loyal friends who become known as the "Scooby Gang"

Mortal Kombat 12: ED BOON FURIOUS AT NEW MK1 LEAKS BECAUSE ITS TRUE....MAYBE...LET ME EXPLAIN!!
Will Now Be Part of ‘Warner Bros. Discovery,’ a ‘Pure Play’ Content Company
The finale of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath leaves the MK Universe at a timeline reset, paving the way for a fresh start in Mortal Kombat 12.
The finale of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath creates a pathway for a fresh start in the future of the franchise. Since the first game's release in 1992, Mortal Kombat has constantly expanded its lore through background information on its characters, spin-off titles, and even the use of additional game modes such as the Krypt in MK11 or Konquest Mode in Deception and Armageddon. Going into the future of the series, Mortal Kombat 12 could explore this lore further by moving away from its current roster.
Elements of the deeper lore of Mortal Kombat have been present throughout the franchise's existence, but it has mostly been relegated to background history and world-building subtext. The ancestry of Kung Lao, which links him back to Earthrealm's first champion of the tournament, remains an underlying story for the members of the Order of Light and its White Lotus Society. Although this history is often referenced, the series has not taken many opportunities to dive further into it. Instead, the series has focused on its current timeline. However, with the timeline reset at the end of Aftermath's good ending, the groundwork is laid for the series to deviate from its present roster of fighters.
When Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath sets the series back in time at the conclusion of its good ending, players are given a choice to play the final confrontation between Shang Tsung and Fire God Liu Kang as either character. Choosing Liu Kang and defeating Outworld's sorcerer sends the story's finale down the path of a new timeline as Liu Kang uses Kronika's Crown and the power of the Hourglass to begin its construction. In doing so, Liu Kang meets the Great Kung Lao, offering to prepare him for what's to come, which could potentially place Mortal Kombat 12 in the past.
The good ending in MK11: Aftermath places the storyline in the very distant past of the franchise. In doing so, this creates the possibility of a clean slate in regards to its roster. Most characters in the current timeline would not be alive in the era of the Great Kung Lao. Beyond Liu Kang taking the role once belonging to Raiden as Earthrealm's protector, as well as the inevitable clash between Kung Lao and Shang Tsung, this era of Mortal Kombat could - and should - see the introduction of new faces from the past.
Many of the franchise's fan-favorites would not be alive during the timeline of Earthrealm's first Mortal Kombat tournament. However, if MK 12 follows the events of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, it gives the franchise a chance to reboot with a brand-new roster of characters in an otherwise unexplored part of Mortal Kombat's history. Rebooting the series by going backwards in time would be interesting, and creating a roster of new characters would flesh out the rich legacy of the franchise.

Mortal Kombat 12 : What If The Elder Demon Belokk Became Cannon | The What If Files Episode 1
I decided to make a new series dedicated to Mortal Kombat characters that never had their chance on the spotlight. Minor characters, rumors fed by fans and even characters that were planned but never made the cut for any games - the latter being the case of that guy over there, Belokk!
Belokk was rumored to appear in MK Gold, but ended up being scrapped because the MK team didn’t have time to finish him. We only found out about him because Eurocom (the game’s developer) accidentally leaked a few screenshots of Belokk to the public. We’ll probably never gonna see more about this mysterious character, but it does make me wonder what part he would take in the story
so here's how i would use him in the new timeline.

Grand Theft Auto 6:Take-Two allegedly planning huge marketing campaign in Miami (SHOCKING)
According to a popular Grand Theft Auto (GTA) YouTuber, Grand Theft Auto 6 is reportedly going to be the most expensive video game ever made. Rockstar Games formally confirmed the game through a tweet on February 4, 2022, and it has been under development for quite a while now. However, the longer it takes to develop a game, the more it costs.
Combine that with additional expenditures like marketing and advertisements, and the total could reach an exorbitant amount of money. While there hasn't been an official announcement regarding the budget or anything else linked to GTA 6, let's look at why some believe it could be the most expensive game of all time.
As hype for the next "GTA" installment grows, we've heard rumors and leaks that have pointed to the next game in the series looking a lot closer to reality than ever before. We're not just talking realistic physics for things like driving and swimming, either; to hear some insiders tell it, "Grand Theft Auto 6" is being designed to make players feel like they're really a part of the action.
Of course, we're in an era of gaming that has pushed the limits of what was previously possible. Video games feel incredibly immersive thanks to new developments in visual and audio fidelity, not to mention haptic feedback that nudges the player at every turn. But Rockstar runs the risk of ruining "Grand Theft Auto 6" if it leans too heavily on realism.
GTA's already been dinged for realism
One of the most common complaints about "Grand Theft Auto 4" — though it's still considered by many to be the best entry in the series — is its characterization of lead protagonist Niko Bellic. Simply put, Niko seems like a decent-enough guy, or at least he begins the game with the intention of leaving his violent past behind. When players meet Niko, he's genuinely trying to be a better man, only to find himself sucked into one criminal scheme after another.
The problem here is that Niko is so well-written that players may find themselves reluctant to engage in some of the more unseemly side activities that are part-and-parcel with the "GTA" experience. It's hard to play as a guy expressing his desire to break the cycle of violence — only to then drive him around blowing up firetrucks and beating up adult entertainers for fun.
The writers on "GTA 6" would do well to keep this lesson in mind when crafting the protags of the new game. This isn't to say that these characters should be one-dimensional, but the inhabitants of a "Grand Theft Auto" game need to be more cartoonish and slightly out-of-step with reality if they're to thrive in the kinds of environments that Rockstar is so adept at crafting. One of the reasons why Trevor caught on so well as a lead character in "Grand Theft Auto 5" was that he already had both feet firmly planted to the left of reality. He's a terrible person, sure, but it's undeniably entertaining to see him go on a cartoon-level rampage. There's a clear separation between the players' world and the one Trevor inhabits, which makes the gameplay experience much more palatable.

Mortal Kombat 12: Demon Forms Are Coming,? New Power Levels & Timeline?! (SPECULATION W/PROOF)
Quan Chi, Ashrah, Sareena, Kia, Jataaka, are the most well known examples of demons. They can hide their appearance underneath a human façade, but otherwise seem to be the same as Oni. Quan Chi was originally an Oni, until he became a demon with his mastery over sorcery and magic. Siann, Mika and Sora were originally lifeless corpses until Quan Chi saved them. Other generic demons have appeared in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks as regular minions that players fight later in the game.
Different classes included the Demon Wards, Demon Warmonger and small Imps. Other classes of demons that wore armor and carried weapons are Demon Archers, Demon Captains, Demon Generals and Demon Handlers.
Mortal Kombat 12 will be the first installment in NetherRealm Studios’ iconic fighter series since 2019’s Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. And while it hasn’t officially been announced, there are several reasons to believe it’s coming sooner rather than later.
Developer NetherRealm Studios has traditionally alternated between working on Mortal Kombat and Injustice titles. However, due to uncertainty regarding the future of parent company Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, it appears Mortal Kombat 12 is being prioritized over Injustice 3.
The last instalment in the series was a commercial success, selling over 12 million copies worldwide. It would be silly not to try and take advantage of that momentum, giving fans another taste of what they love as soon as possible.
On top of this, there is a somewhat nostalgic reason to prioritise the development of Mortal Kombat 12 – 2022 will mark the 30th anniversary of the series.
The 30th anniversary of Earth vs. Outworld
For nearly 30 years, Liu Kang has led the forces of man against the monstrous forces of Outworld, generally feet first. For just as long, Sub Zero and Scorpion have fought to the death, inevitably punctuated by guttural calls of “get over here!”
And for almost three decades, the four-armed prince of punching power, Goro, has fascinated and disturbed audiences in equal measure.
That’s right; Mortal Kombat 12 will celebrate over 30 years of controversially bloody, gloriously nasty gameplay. If the studio can get themselves into gear, that is (otherwise, they might be celebrating 31 years, which doesn’t have quite the same ring to it).

Grand Theft Auto 6: Will Be Unplayable For Millions Of Gamers BECAUSE of this REASON (SHOCKING)

Mortal Kombat 12 : The Making Of Fatalities, Story Mode, Sound, Characters | 1hr Documentary

Mortal Kombat 12 : How Kung Lao COULD Be The Next Big Super Villain (Documentary Rerun)
Kung Lao is a hero-turned-villain in the Mortal Kombat series. In Mortal Kombat X, he is portrayed as a villain. He is a member of the White Lotus Society and the Shaolin Monks. In the majority of the games, he had been on the side of good.
Kronika is a Titaness, a being of higher ranking than that of an Elder God. She is the Keeper of Time, Architect of the Destiny of the Universe and mother of Shinnok, the Elder God of Death and Corruption, and Cetrion, the Elder Goddess of Life and Virtue. She is also the creator of the immortal artificial construct Geras, a being with the ability to manipulate time on a much smaller scale than Kronika while also wielding power over the Sands of Time, forging rock and stone weapons while using powerful Knuckle Dusters to pummel his opponents into submission.
Due to Raiden's new brutal policy in crushing potential evil forces that threaten Earthrealm, with its apex at the beheading of her own son, Shinnok, she sees it as an imbalance between the forces of good and evil and seeks to force equilibrium by erasing the timeline and rewriting a new one from the very beginning. These events would set in motion her plan to fix the time flow, creating a New Era and leading consequentially to the past merging with the present.
According to Raiden, as the Keeper of Time, Kronika is the only one capable of tampering with the forces of time to the point of present and past to collide, and also states that she has restarted the timeline many times in order to find perfection.
Though she is a God-like being, Kronika resembles a human female with piercing blue eyes. She has no hair, but adorns her scalp with a piece of gold metal. She wears a black, white, and gold dress along with matching armor and heels. Parts of her body have a blue, ethereal glow.
Later, she dons a headpiece infused with all the souls Shang Tsung had ever consumed, covering her scalp, the crown itself constantly glowing with green energy.

Mortal Kombat 12 Exclusive: The Franchise REBOOT is NEEDED Because of This MAJOR ISSUE {SPECULATION)
We’ve finally had our first brief look at what Mortal Kombat 12 could have in store, with a recent teaser showing that the Sands of Time may return. Here’s why their involvement in the plot could be what the series needs to course correct.
Let me take you all back way over a decade to the release of Mortal Kombat in 2011. The first NetherRealm Studios game, which rose from the ashes of Midway Games, took things back to basics with a franchise that had run wildly out of control for nearly a decade at that point. For as much as I love Mortal Kombat, some of these mid-era games were seriously rough. Even Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, a fighting game that included every playable character to date and boasted the biggest story stakes seen yet, was still a massive disappointment.
Whether it was the switch to 3D which had occurred with the sloppy Mortal Kombat 4 or the piling on of gimmicks from Chess Kombat, Motor Kombat, and a progressively worsening Konquest mode, the franchise had seriously lost its way. That’s why Mortal Kombat (2011) felt so fresh. The 2D perspective returned and many of the series’ sins were washed away. From lore that few could keep up with anymore, to bloated and unnecessary gameplay additions, this title brought things back to basics at a time when it was needed the most - and it needs to happen again with Mortal Kombat 12.
Insider Claims
The rumour mill began churning when an alleged industry insider claimed to have information regarding the development of Mortal Kombat 12. According to this source, the development team at NetherRealm Studios has been working tirelessly on the next instalment of the franchise, and the game is reportedly nearing the final stages of development. This insider also suggested that Mortal Kombat 12 would be unveiled at the PlayStation Showcase event, leading fans to speculate about what could be in store.
NetherRealm Studios’ Cryptic Tweets
Adding fuel to the fire, NetherRealm Studios, the developer behind the Mortal Kombat series, has been posting cryptic tweets and messages on social media platforms, hinting at a possible announcement. These messages have included subtle references to the Mortal Kombat universe, such as images of iconic characters and locations, which have led fans to believe that an announcement is imminent. The studio’s history of teasing their fans with hints before a significant reveal only adds to the speculation.
When Kratos was revealed as an exclusive character for the PlayStation 3 version of NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat reboot, Xbox 360 fans may have wondered what exclusive was coming their way. As it turns out, it was nothing. Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has revealed that NetherRealm also wanted to give Xbox 360 fans something to look forward to, but wasn’t able.

INJUSTICE 3 : Did Injustice 2 Endings Has the Perfect Setup for More Corrupted Heroes? (Speculation)
Injustice 3, Warner Bros DC Comics smash-up, has been CANCELLED Due to Poor Sales after being rumored to be in the works for a while. We know for instance NetherRealm Studios was hiring for next-gen instalments of both of the studio's big two fighting game franchises.
By the end of May, Injustice 2 was the ninth best-selling game of 2017. Time Warner declared the game as "the highest-grossing console game in the second quarter of 2017," selling approximately 1.5 million copies in the first three months of its release
It's hard to believe how long has passed since Injustice 2 released in 2019, but with Mortal Kombat 11 no longer being supported by NetherRealm, it leaves an opening for more DC Comics inspired entries.
If like us you're keen to know what is coming next, here's everything we know about a potential superpowered sequel.
Creative Director Ed Boon put out a tweet with a fake tease for Injustice, involving Keanu Reeves. While he followed that up with another tweet confirming this is a joke, it's left fans wondering what could've been.
21 August, 2021 -
Speaking on a new Giant Bomb video, journalist Jeff Grubb has suggested that issues relating to WB Games has led to NetherRealm changing projects.
Essentially, the implication is that NetherRealm has ditched plans for Injustice 3 to focus on Mortal Kombat 12 as the Studio's next project.
“It lines up with the reality and it lines up with what I’ve heard, where Mortal Kombat 12 would make the most sense because that’s a game they know will make money, it will sell well… Mortal Kombat 11 was great, it’s doing well, but if you come out with Mortal Kombat 12 it will also sell and do well,” Grubb said speaking on the Giant Bomb.
“At the same time, you don’t have to use any of these Batman or Superman characters that might be tied up in licensing if you try to get rid of NetherRealm or sell it to whoever.”
2 July, 2021 -
NetherRealm has announced it's ended Mortal Kombat 11 support to focus on a new game. There's no indication that might be Injustice 3 - but there's no indication it isn't.
