In this video, I wanted to bring a different viewpoint as opposed to what was the obvious to everybody else. I wanted to push the viewers to think a little bit deeper because in life sometimes to arrive to the right conclusion you may have to push yourself to think past the obvious. 

Sometimes, it is the small anecdotes in life that hold great significance. The world is filled with a vast amount of knowledge and wisdom, waiting to be explored. However, it requires genuine curiosity and a willingness to connect with others in order to uncover it. I had the privilege of spending time with my mother-in-law, a remarkably wise woman, and during our conversation, I had the opportunity to learn about her own past and that of her mother.

This video is mainly for the black fathers out there, but it also applies to every single fathers no matter your ethnicity. The facts and statistics on the lack of the father figure are pretty glaring in the black communities, so it’s time to stop making excuses and take charge. Understand what our responsibilities are and to not make it optional whether to be there for our kids or not. This is a very predatory type of world we live in so unfortunately, as fathers, mothers, we don’t get to fail at this.
