Ep. 168 Just Because You Can Doesn’t Mean You Should
Many of you may find yourself feeling a little burned out. It’s hard with so much coming at us all the time. Sometimes we say yes and regret it later. But just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
How can you know when to say yes and when to say no? This is where a Catholic life coach can be a crucial ally to help you do and be all you’re called and created to do and be—without the burn out.
Writing a mission statement and being clear on your own state in life and vocation can be powerful. That’s what I discussed today and you don’t want to miss it!

Ep. 167 Positive Thinking or Is It?
What do you really, really want? Too often we state the things we don’t want. But if you want something you need to be clear on what it is and frame your thoughts and words positively.
Focus on the end result and keep it top of mind.
Without realizing it our negative thoughts and words actually keep us from accomplishing those things we claim to want. Our thoughts and attitudes are so powerful!
So, how can we break our negative mindsets and work purposefully and powerfully toward what we truly want?
That’s what I explore in this video. Be sure to tune in!

Ep. 166 Understanding verses The Blame Game
Sometimes I've noticed that devout people may avoid therapy because they don't want to talk ill of others. They feel guilty talking about their parents or others that may have hurt them. But in therapy the goal is to seek healing so first there needs to be understanding. It’s not sinful to express how you feel. And of course, in therapy everything is kept private.
By exploring past hurts we can gain understanding and healing. But at some point, we need to move past the blame game. Understanding is one thing but in order to move forward we need to forgive and leave the past behind us.
That’s what I explore in today’s video. I think you’ll find it helpful.

Ep. 164 The Price of Justice. The Cost of Revenge.
In our world today, we are seeing a lot of injustice. And certainly, in our personal lives we experience it. So how do we deal with it? Sometimes we pay a price to get justice. We may have to make sacrifices.
But we can also fall into seeking revenge, which always comes at a cost and may not even correct the injustice.
So, what’s the difference? That’s what I talk about in today’s video.

Ep. 155 When You’ve Exhausted All Possibilities, Know This
I heard a great quote from Thomas Edison recently, “When you’ve exhausted all possibilities, know this, you haven’t.”
That attitude and belief is key to success in any endeavor. No matter how hard you’ve tried, no matter how bleak something may feel, don’t give up if it’s important. You may be out of ideas but God never is.
Today I talk about how to persevere in spite of not seeing a way forward.

Today I talk about how to use buffers and bridges to start reinstating these strained relationships.

As Catholics we often pray litanies, and there are spiritual and even psychological benefits to doing so. They teach and reinforce spiritual truths.
But sometimes we can have a tendency to “litanize” our problems and unwittingly reinforce our distress and keep ourselves from triumphing over our challenges.
Are you, or someone you know doing that? Tune in to today’s video to learn how to break this pattern and move forward to better outcomes in your life.

Ep. 146 Behavior and Results: The Lost Connection
We are clearly living through strange times. Behaviors and results are rarely connected. We hear many now lamenting that women no longer have control over their bodies with the fall of Roe vs. Wade. Many fail to make the connection between pregnancy and the behaviors that lead to it.
But taking that a bit further, are there results or circumstances in your own life for which you may be unwittingly missing the connection between your results and your behaviors? How can you recognize and correct those patterns if they’re happening?
That’s the topic of today’s video. Hope you find it helpful. Be sure to leave a comment!
