Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E23: The Restless Dead of Redcliffe Village
I think we have finished enough side quests for the time being, and finished yet another DLC mission, so it's time to continue the main story by going to Redcliffe and helping out Earl Emon. We already knew that he was sick from something, in a coma and on the edge of death, but that is the least of the villagers worries, who are being killed or dragged off by the undead into the castle. Even though we spend most of the game solving everyone's problems, I do genuinely feel that these villagers aren't able to even try to save themselves and thus do really want to help them survive the night and restore peace to them. Out of everyone, they aren't partially responsible for what has happened to them, and deserves all the help they can get

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E24: Night of the Living Dead
Lets try this again, this time with 100% less crashes, and more success! Once we hold off the demons of the night, we'll need to get inside the castle and find out what is truly going on. Something tells me that, besides from already knowing what's going to happen, the Arlessa isn't telling the entire story

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E29: The Ashes of Andrastate and Her Reincarnated Form
Turns out, these cultists are crazy, as they believe that a dragon is Andrastate. How, I am unsure, but they believe it and I also can't really blame them; in the past, many people want to believe in a reincarnated version of their deity of worship existed in the world, only allowing those worthy enough to see them to... well see them. But, the most important thing to take from this episode is that it's very easy to get both endings to this for the achievement, the Specialized Skill, and the happy ending

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E30: Attempt to Get Loyalty Check Quest
In a normal playthrough, 8.5 times out of 10, I would romance Lelianna, and it's to the point where I know what the right dialogue choices are to do that. However, I didn't know how to get Leliannas personal quest to activate, and accidentally went through about 85% of the romance options trying to get to that point. I'll later learn how to get it to activate, but I did stick to my word and didn't romance her. There will be plenty of time for romancing later on in the series

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E22: Clean Up in the Forest
Seeing as how I plan on trying to complete every quest in the game, and that we have a few lingering side quests to finish up/work on a bit, we're returning to the forest to do those, and pick up any loot that we have left behind. After all, we do need very copper we get get our hands on for more poultices and the ingredients for creating them. We also get to encounter some dialogues that I've never seen before, and quite frankly, I'm very happy that we are seeing these for my first, and possibly only time. I don't know if anyone has done this good of a job in 100% the game (then again, I haven't been looking too hard for them)

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E25: One Problem Down, One to Go
Well, it's done. We managed to defeat the demon that took a hold of the castle, but unfortunately, this doesn't help towards fixing the main problem we came here to fix: Arl Emon is still poisoned and very sick. So, now we go relic hunting! Man, Delves-Through-Crypts would be proud of us to be hunting for a relic that may or may not exist.

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E27: The Tempe of the Cultists of the False Andrastate
Yes, it's a super long name for a temple, and yes it's not the actual name for the temple, but for the most part, we're fighting off many, many cultists as we demonstrated at the entrance to the main hall. But hey, this place has a lot of loot and we finally completed one of the optional quests that requires you to travel to multiple locations, and this place is filled with plenty of loot to take.
I hope you all enjoy, and I'll see you in the next one!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E26: Warden Bros for Life
Before we go head of to the scholar's place, I'd like to take a few minutes to check in and improve our friendship with Alistair. Especially since his loyalty quest is in Denerim, and it would be a simple pit stop along the way. And, while I'm at it, we might as well do a side quests or two before heading off to the good scholar's home and asking him for his notes. And yes, this is the nicely asking, not the "I'm going to stick my sword in you if you don't" asking, I'm not on a killing rampage all of the time

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E21: Wardens Keep DLC
Today, we go through the entire Wardens Keep DLC, and, hopefully, collect everything that can be found there, from items to minor codex lore. Honestly, not the most riveting, mind blowing experience, but it is still a good time, and the taint powers that you get by choosing to drink more blood (there seems to be a lot of that throughout this game) are pretty good.

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E20: Helping out the Crows
We take a bit of time away from the main story to assist in dealing with a representative with the Antivian Crows. Not in the bad way, as Zevran has demonstrated that, but rather help out one of their own in Denarim for the time being. I've never done this side quest line before, so I have no idea how long it is, or what happens at the end of it. All I know is that exploring something new is fun and I'm enjoying it! I hope you guys are as well!
We'll be getting back to the main quest arc soon, and be heading to Redcliffe to start the first portion of the questline there
Hope you all enjoy, and I'll see you in the next one!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E19: Zevrans Backstory
Through just a small tour of Denarim with our rogue, Zevran, we learn quite a bit about him, part of his past, and even an interaction that I figured would happen but never saw it before, until now that is. And it was definitely worth checking out, as not even the playthroughs that I've seen from other people have this in it, which surprised me to see. Guess with this series, you'll truly be getting a near or exact 100% completion/exploration!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E17: Belly of the Beasts
Time to meet our unwelcoming hosts, and I must say, how rude it is to have us run through the ruins, which tried to kill us, only to meet them later, and they then try to kill us. It's only when we kill a few of them that they realize: "well, this isn't such a good idea, we don't really want to lose anymore of our kin to this violence when you were willing to talk." No matter, as we're still in good shape, maybe a few poultices lighter but still good shape!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E16: From Forest Greens to Ruins Undead
We've seen the nice, colourful forest that seems to be chocked full of life, and now we get to head into some ruins full of death. Well, technically they aren't dead, but I wouldn't call skeletons and arcane horrors living either. Really the only living thing, outside of the werewolves, would be a small dragon that seems to be very hungry when we find him

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E15: Into the Forest
Time to start on the next part of the main quest, and I'm doing this out of my standard order. Rather than go to Redcliff, I'm going to the Brecilian Forest and start the Dalish Elf portion of the game. We got to help them with their plight against the werewolves, and the curse that will soon claim many of this specific clans hunters. Helping them out would, somehow, get us all of the Dalish Elves for the battle against the Darkspawn (they say that it'll be through seeing the other clans, but realistically, that wouldn't be very reliable. Probably would have helped to have a almanac of where they have seen other tribes travel stops)
I hope you all enjoy, and I'll see you in the next one!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E14: We Get Assassinated... Or Attempted to Be
Time to meet another character of our band of Darkspawn slaying, People helping, boarder line Mercenary team; the one the only Zeverin the assassin! While I don't plan on playing with the assassin perks on my character, and while I don't really need a second rogue in the party, he has some really good lines, and also the extra damage can prove useful in some situations

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E13: Blood Mage Beat Down
As a bit of filler between major story lines, and to get a few more pieces of gold, we do a few miscellaneous quests around the areas we have either already visited, or areas where that don't have a major story tied to it at the current moment. One of these missions has us going into a house and dealing with a cult of Blood Mages. I have a few memories of this going poorly, but this time, I used a combination of the camera, traps and a few well placed AoE attacks to help guide us to victory. Still surprised I did as well as I did with the final room

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E18: The Good, The Bad and The Bloody
Like we had in the Circle Tower, there are 2 ways to complete this arc, and both of them will give a different unit for the final battle. In this video, we take the happy, good ending in it's truest form. There is another way to get the Dalish elves to join us, but to me, it wouldn't feel right to just kill all of the werewolves without first trying to break the curse that they are desperate to be free of. The second ending is definitely a lot darker; annihilation of the Dalish Elfs, turning those who survive into werewolves. It does have a bit of a sad ending to it for Swiftrunner, but overall, it is definitely the bloody ending that is fun to grab if you don't like elf characters

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E12: We Fight a Pride Demon
Time to get out of the fade, and continue the game. As much fun as it's to be in the fade, I don't want to stay forever in it. Besides, there's a lot to accomplish still, and the Blight is still going on (though it sure is taking it's sweet time. Not that it's a problem for me though). Most importantly, we aren't making any money in the fade, and that's the worst crime of them all
I hope you all enjoy, and I'll see you in the next one!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E11: Traversing the Fade
I didn't quite remember where I left off in the fade, I do remember crashing at some point though. So we jump back into the beginning of the fade and, over the course of the next two episodes, we finish up the fade, and then some. However, before we get there, we need to do some puzzle solving and shape shifting (which is much cooler and better than the shape shiftier class for mages, why couldn't they get something similar to that?) our way back to reality
I hope you all and I'll see you in the next one!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E10: Enter The Fade
We start the first major arc of this game, outside of the main story of "we need an army to replace what we lost at Ostagar to defeat the Darpspawn;" The Circle of Magi. They definitely seen better days, but we're here to fix that. We will not only have the treaties saying that they must help out, but we would have earned their respect, possibly to the point where having the treaties wouldn't matter (bit of a stretch, but we some of these factions we do help out immensely). Best part, we also get our new mage for the rest of the series: Wynne!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E7: Back Streets of Denerim
We continue our side quest portion of the play through, this time mainly focused on being in Denerim. Apparently, the city guard doesn't know when to quit and I have to kill a bunch of them once again. If I didn't have any bombs, I probably wouldn't have gotten out of that battle as well as I did, or even at all.

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E9: Character Development Part 1
I changed my mind on how many characters I have a Character Development talk with, opting to talk to Shale and Leliana after recruiting the Mages to fight against the Blight. We also meet Wynne, who is going to be our mage of choice to travel around with as, while I do like Morrigan as a character, Wynne's abilities are already set for the more ideal healer/support character, plus I can choose both of her specialist paths

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E8: Finding Shale
Title basically describes what happened; we find and add Shale to our party of wondering problems solvers. She's a golem, so that's something unique. We aren't going to be doing a lot of back story on her until we reach the Dwarven arc of this playthrough, as her past is locked behind the ending of that arc, but she'll be one of the companions I'll have with us, 9 times out of 10
Hope you all enjoy, and I'll see you in the next one!

Dragon Age Origins Lets Play E6: Side Quest Missions
Before we can go out there and save the world, we're going to need to need a lot more gold. For this, and the next one or two episodes, we're going to grind out a few side quests. Not too hard of a goal, but still, it needs to be done. Asides from the occasional bomb supply, I'm going to stop double selling a bunch of items by the time I get the last bit of equipment that I'd like, which isn't too much more. In another episode, I also discover something that, while it does involve double selling items, I'm going to use them on characters that I won't be using at all (I.e Sten, Morrigan after the Circle missions, Lelianna, and a few others). With the exception of Sten, I'll wait until after I finish each of their side missions
