Once a bustling small community along the northeast shores of the Salton Sea, Bombay Beach is now somewhat of an “off the grid” haven for hipsters and artists. If you’re ever in the area, definitely take a drive around…it’s quite interesting!

Nope. Not quite. Didn’t make it over this obstacle at Truckhaven Hills, a 30 acre 4x4 training area featuring 22 obstacles located in Thermal, California near the Salton Sea.

Our tortoiseshell kitten suckled our comforter so much that she created a white spot! But she’s just so darn cute doing it!

Our local black bear found a dead trout along the shore and quickly made a meal of it. Did you know… black bears can actually be black, brown, cinnamon, blue-grey, white or blonde in color?

We thought it would be fun to bring our pug along to listen to some live music in the forest, but all we could hear was her attempting back-up vocals!

Nugget the pug is fighting with the pug inside the mirror. Priceless!

Our silly kitty, Emery, jumped inside the Keurig coffee pod box in our open cabinet I could not get out.
