Two of the biggest successful radio stations, Radio Nova, then Sunshine Radio,were raided by the Dublin government in May 1983. This is the story and background, to what was the most successful and inspiring years in broadcasting, since the radio ship Radio Caroline started transmitting on the Irish Sea, and North Sea, on Easter 1964. Key to this whole era, was a "something" which inspired the creativity and Protected these radio stations, and ultimatley led to the creation of Sky Television. Itself seeded by members of Radio Caroline. Thus the Raids in May 1983, are a pivotal moment in broadcsting history. From the edited VHS, shot in 1983, by Miles Johnston. The Irish Era of Pirate Radio is the story of the greatest ever creativity in english language broadcasting, and it came from Ireland, as recorded and produced by Miles Johnston, who created the Bases Project a decade later. Radio Caroline had to be created in 1963, so a few records could be played on the radio, as Cabal controlled broadcasting, restricted popular music and 'free' radio.. In the late 70's the Dublin pirates took hold, and a whole new era of Irish Radio began. The Irish era of Pirate Radio is the history, as it happened, videographed by Miles Johnston, with the donations by a few contributors, the Irish Era of Pirate Radio Part 5 (of 8) - The Raids in May 1983, and how the newly awakened people of Ireland woke up. Fought back and the era continued to 2005, with border blasters broadcasting to Belfast. The key, UFOs, something was protecting these stations, known as the "I-T-S"

Bases Project witness interviews at the International UFO Congress 2017, Scottsdale, Arizona. David Cota, is a witness, and claims to have involvement with some of the programs related to the "super Soldiers". He has many wider issues to mention. Sara R Adams was Max Spiers companion, so this is is the first time in 7 years, since Max's assassination, in Poland in 2016, that Sarah has gone solo for the Bases Project. The Raids in May 1983 were an attack on the development of the social transformation of the Irish, expressed through these radio stations. As such all goverenments and those involved in these attacks suffered penalty. They still have not learnt. These raids were instigated from sources in Northern Ireland. The Raids and the Jamming, had involvment with the a foreign country's state broadcaster, as word of the raidfs filtered from a source in Belfast. The stations came back on, after a huge public protes, and continued to broadcast for another 5 years. When they were forecd off air in Dec 1988, the Irish Prime Minister and the Minister for Comunications were both guilty of other crimes, one went to jail, the other could never return to Ireland.

The Irish Pirates started soon after the close down of the off shore stations in 1967. It took just over 10 years for them to really develop in Dublin, and explode across the country from 1978. A feature in Melody Make or the New Musical Express, and the BBC Nationwide program, showed this to a wider audience world wide. The Radio Caroline veterans Robbie Dale and Chris Cary started their stations, Sunshine Radio, and Radio Nova in 19890 and 1981, respectfully. This made high power AM and high power FM, in full professional quality and marketing set sale in Dublin city. This became the era of the SuperPirates. In Part 3 we catch Sunshine and Radio Nova as they commenced their hyper success. Then in 1983 , the raids in May, instigated by the UK government via Belfast, made the Irish government move, and it back fired immensely. Thus the activity of the Intelligence Trabnsfer Sequence was seen operating, but we did not know that then. Released from the Bases project archive, straight from the VHS , This requires enhancement and, ultimatly made into a film.

The most exciting and progressive era of broasdcasting occured in the 1970s through to late 1980s, in Ireland. This series, recorded and edited on VHS, by Miles Johnston, is an eye on the wall, as it happend history of broadcasting. Key elements in this involved Radio Caroline, (1963) and UFOs, a complete seed change in conscioussness which changed Irish life and social attitudes, and led to SKY television. Crucial was what people called the "radio Bug", something that grabbed people's creativity and excitment..later to be know as the Intelligence Transfer Sequence "ITS" Taken completely raw from the VHS edit. This is seeking full backing for a major film of this era. It changed the world of Broadcasting, with Radio Caroline , and then Lazer 558 in the UK, and then ultimatley to the creation of a multiplatform television platform, Sky TV.
