I was never any good at Contra games. Not to say I don't like them, but I was always terrible at them. I liked the Wayforward developed Contra 4 and wanted more. More than a decade later we are getting it with Contra: Operation Galuga. And it's Wayforward developed again? Hell yeah!

We talk a lot about wrestling at this one. A lot has happened when recording it and I talk about what things could be. For the first time in years, I am at least mildly interested in what WWE could do. At one point I made a reference to this game, The Legend of Kusakari on the 3DS. Originally streamed on 07/26/2022 Man, I really do like these dungeons originally designed for handhelds. One screens rooms, not too complicated of a layout, and the combat here has really improved. I mean, this is the fourth Zelda game and though this is the remake, I feel like they nailed this down. We also check out Dampe's Dungeon Adventure. I think it's... interesting. Definitely deserves its criticisms but I also can't imagine a full-fledged "Zelda Maker" in this remake. It would have been too much. I'm still going to periodically check back on this to get any items we'll need for completion. ...I still want that Zelda Maker game though...

I really did love the 2006 game. I got into during the 3DS ambassador program (Yes, hello! I am a 3DS ambassador, still am) So when a remake was announced, I was excited to go back and play this again. I know a lot of people who aren't stoked for remakes. But I love 'em. Slap a fresh coat of paint on these things and I'm ready to share these with my nieces and nephews! Let's go!

Originally streamed on 07/18/2022 It's Thursday. You know what that means! We begin the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Originally released in 1993 with a DX remake in 1998, we are playing the 2019 remake. So many good times with this game. The characters. The music. All of it. It felt like catching up with an old friend. Probably could have wrapped this hour up earlier if I wanted to, but I didn't. I spent way too much time fishing. But that's half the fun, right?

Originally streamed on 01/24/2023 Well, Thanks to constant stopping and restarting, playing through Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix only took me 540 days. It's kind of crazy to see how much these streams have improved in that time. I now have a camera, as well as a comfortable place to record. Is it perfect? No. But it has improved and I can only go up from here! I think that's the coolest thing I learned from streaming so far. "Work with what is available to you. Learn all of its ins and outs. Once you do that, you'll improve and be ready for new challenges." As much as I want that "Jay-Z studio basement" where I can stream, record, produce, and write. I haven't really acquired that knowledge where I can use it to it's fullest extent. It's a slow, step-by-step process. But there isn't any other way to learn. But going back to where we stand with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. Man, we left a lot of things undone. We didn't even unlock any crowns for Sora. That's mostly because those crowns and very easily obtainable through the post-game. Defeating Xenmas first was imperative to actually completing KHIIFM. We will eventually return to complete the journal, the Data Battles, the Absent Silouhettes, Mushroom XIII. But if I want to finish the Kingdom Hearts series on stream before I'm 40, we gotta move!

Originally streamed on 01/16/2023 This is another one of that "put on and go about your business" kind of stream. Making that grind up to level 99. About twenty minutes in, I met up with those three ladies from Final Fantasy X-2 (I don't know why they are fairies here. I didn't get far into Final Fantasy X. I'll fix that, I promise.) And they give us an keyblade that would really help us. Not gonna lie, I was a bit hesistant to use this. To be honest, I wasn't sure how. But later on we use it, don't worry about that.

And hoo boy. This one was a crazy one. Completely forgot where I was. Broke all my rules but we are at least going to get Sora and the gang up to level 99 before the final boss fight. We'll get those crowns someday. But we got to get to the post game first. And we set the expectation to finish the series before I turn 40 live on stream. I think we can do it!
