I wasn't expecting to make a part 2, but just getting the line back up in the tree was only part of the problem.

Looked out and saw my antenna on the ground. Lets see if we can get it back up.

I got a RAM Mount tough track for my Tacoma from Expedition Essentials (Not Affiliated) I got it here https://tacomabeast.com/products/tacoma-track-mount-2016-2019 I couldn't wait to put it in. I had a air vent clamp mount that worked really well, but you do loose a little functionality. I wanted to add a phone mount and didn't want to effect another vent. I found this track. It's a pretty clean install. You'll see this type of accessory mounting track in overlanding vehicles. Stay until the end for a sneak peak at my 3D printer printing a wire winder designed by K6ARK

I brought up a net on the repeaters and then we moved over to simplex for the exercise. If you are like me you are always looking for that magical antenna. I can't help but try something when I hear good things about it. It doesn't always work out at expected. In short, it is a good antenna for a small area, but my endfed that is up higher is still better. How do you get a mower that doesn't want to move onto a 30 year old trailer to get it to the shop? You get creative. I found out afterwards that there was a way to unlock the wheels from the transmission under the mower so they would freely spin. I ran QRP 5 watts for the CQ World Wide DX Contest. I really didn't plan on participating, but it just worked out that way and once I got started I had a great time. The activity on the bands was insane.

This video was unexpected. Wanted to go out and test some other stuff when I got surprised by RFI from the laptop I use all the time in my shack.

I kept seeing this case and I was really interested, but I saw two different videos, one for and one very much against, but they didn't answer the questions I had. This is my initial impressions. Give me some time before I make my final judgement. Since I shot this video I've already ran into a few things that need to be mentioned.

First video with the new camera. GoPro Hero 11 Black with the media mod. I was doing a little camera test and recorded a channel update.

Did a couple little projects and then worked on my portable linked dipole for a bit before the weather started to turn on me. Always use ear protection. I should of had eye protection.
