Solar Solace collecting rainfall simulator samples
Solar Solace, herd watching as I collect a sample to demonstrate a continuously grazed pasture in contrast to a pasture managed using what I like to call "Educated Observational Grazing" where the moves are decided using educated observational skills rather than just by calendar or even strictly by using a grazing wedge etc. As the manager becomes more educated by using observational skills the level of management increases. Success is measured by many things.

Solar Solace, using free carbon to heal landscape scars.
Solar Solace, Historic high impact area where livestock have been tromping the ditch bank, using free weeds, cardboard, and paper to fill in the scar. This is in the hopes to catch sediment and providing food for microbes to break down this carbon source to become soil and grow more grass!

Solar Solace 3-2-2022 welcome back!
Solar Solace Chickens love green, even if it is dry...! Warmer days ahead, this is why chickens allowed to be chickens have darker yellow/orange yolks. Any product you consume that was raised as it was designed will translate into healthier eating. Stay tuned for a hog pasture set up!

Solar Solace spreading seed in the feed, healthy soils, feeding the large and small livestock
Very short clip of feeding hay with my homemade bail unroller. The only thing that gets me through feeding hay is knowing I am also feeding the soil. I am also spreading seed and fertilizer when I lay down a large bail of hay. I am feeding cows, sheep, Virus, Bacteria/Archaea, Fungi, Protists, Nematodes and Micro-Arthropods/Micro-Animals. I am excited to see how this will look in a couple of seasons.

Infiltration test as a precursor to planning an agricultural field irrigation system and planting.
Single ring infiltration test on sandy soils, water moved into this soil at just about 2mm/minute which is right on the threshold and will benefit from applying soil health principles.
