A brace from Josh March saw Marine fall to a 2-1 home defeat against their League 1 opposition at the Webbswood Stadium on a hot Saturday afternoon - rounding off two games in two days. James Harding produced another decent performance and pulled one back after the visitors had gone ahead in the first half, but the whole team deserved credit once again as they didn't look out of place against a side four divisions higher up the pyramid. Supermarine played the first of two games in two days as they visited the newly promoted Mitres on Friday evening [15.07.22], looking to continue their fine preseason form. Although the hosts got off to a great start, they were unable to convert their chances and Harry Williams put Lee Spaldings side ahead on 15 minutes. The home side drew level on 32 minutes when Jordan Annear forced the ball in to the back of the net but after the break, Harry Williams bagged a second [55 minutes] while the referee failed to award a free kick to the visitors after Trialist B was brought down, and the home side took advantage and immediately went down the other end of the pitch and scored courtesy of Shayne Anson [68 minutes]. Just as it looked as if it would be honours shared, Conor McDonagh scored a scorcher of a goal from 20 yards out [84 minutes] and there was even time for him to see a penalty saved just before the final whistle. Supermarine got their preseason campaign off to a good start with a comfortable win at the Corinium Stadium on Tuesday evening [July 5, 2022]. First half goals from Jamie Edge [19 minutes] and Henry Spalding [23 minutes] gave the visitors a decent lead, and with a large number of changes after the break, it was left to a lively Trialist B to add to the score [88 minutes] to round off the win. The Webbswood Stadium played host to a Swindon Supermarine Legends side who took on a team of Legends and Starts from Swindon Town on Sunday afternoon [July 3, 2022], all in support of the NSPCC.

Sunday May 22, 2022 Corinium Stadium, Cirencester Supermarine Women completed their 2021-22 season in a creditable seventh place courtesy of a 6-0 win in their "home" game to neighbours Highworth Town Ladies. Four goals from Amy Hards and a brace from Leah Dolloway rounded off a great performance on the day.

Kieran Phillips was close to sweeping a hat-trick of awards at our Presentation Evening last weekend... Steve Gunnett raising the smiles with this one!

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South A Harry Williams strike in the 81st minute sealed victory against a determined Hartley Wintney side at the Webbs Wood Stadium on Tuesday [15.03.22] evening after an entertaining game. Man of the Match Ryan Campbell put the home side ahead after 21 minutes, a lead they took in to the interval, however a slow start to the second saw the visitors level via Harry Cooksley just two minutes after the game resumed. Conor McDonagh restored his sides lead two minutes later but Hartley Wintney continued to fight and equalised for a second time when Adam Allen levelled on 77 minutes. With 9-minutes left however, it was Lee Spalding’s side who clinched the killer blow, when Harry Williams scored to seal all three very important league points.

Shriv fell to straight defeat number eight in Almondsbury on Saturday afternoon. A decent first half performance was unfortunately followed up with a second 45 which didn't produce much in front of the goal, leaving the side with a disappointing 720 minutes played without a point.

Shrivenham took a 2-1 lead in to the interval at Barrington Park on Saturday afternoon [26.02.22], however it was the visitors who knuckled down and got themselves back in it with three second half efforts before the home side grabbed a third towards the end. The defeat means the side have now lost their last seven games in a row, with some strong opposition still to be played as the season draws to a close.

Dire defending in the first forty-five minutes cost Shrivenham a point against highflying Cribbs at Barrington Park on a windy Saturday afternoon. Goals from Nick Jones, Jack Fillingham, Jake Hodgson, Ryan Crouch and then Jack Fillingham once again gave Shriv a nervy time in the half time team talk, but although they gave a much better work rate after the break, the home side never really looked as if they would trouble their visitors, before Josh Gregory - the clubs leading appearance maker so far this term, was dismissed following a scuffle after the final whistle to round off another disappointing Saturday afternoon.
