When I noticed the stray cat I had been feeding was fat with babies, I let it have access to my screen porch. A couple weeks later, in an old beer tub at the far end of the porch I found them. They’re learning to walk. Cat Toddlers.

My shooting range in the backyard has been fun all summer with the targets right at the edge of the water and misses make a giant splash. But in the last week they got over 10” of rain upstream in Melbourne. It takes about a week before we see it here and I need to get the targets out of the water before they’re submerged. The problem is: there’s a 7 foot long gator who lives back there.
