601 La Bomba Warhead IV cigar discussion
Released in July 2018, La Bomba's Warhead IV cigar was inspired by several themes in the World War II era. When unraveled, the foot band on the cigar is revealed to be in the shape of a bomb. This bomb shape features nose art or aircraft graffiti, which was common in this era. Most prominent is the shark-face, which is a reference to the Flying Tigers, the 1st American Volunteer Group who would paint the shark-faces on their military aircraft.

The newly released Ezra Zion Naughty Bits Blue cigar!
Released late February 2022, the Naughty Bits Blue is the 3rd installment of the naughty bits line. Not much information is provided about this cigar except that the wrapper is a 7 year aged habano and the filler is from Nicaragua (Esteli, Ometepe), and Indonesia.
I found this to be a full flavor, med + to full strength, and had over an hour of smoking time.

Drew Estate BOTL (brothers of the leaf) cigar discussion
Drew Estate relaunched the collaborative BOTL line of cigars, to authorized Drew Diplomat retailers across the country, showcasing the connoisseur-geared blend in three sizes at the 2019 IPCPR trade show.
BOTL was originally released in 2012, collaborating with the BOTL.org online community to offer a limited number of 7″ x 38 lancero-sized cigars. This was followed again in 2013, releasing 100 boxes in a 6″ x 46 corona gorda.
"The cigars make use of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadorian Connecticut binder, and all-Nicaraguan fillers; this is nearly the same recipe found in the original release, with the only noticeable difference being the addition of two high-priming ligero leaves in the filler." (Cigar Dojo)

The hard-to-get Casa Fuente Double Robusto cigar by Arturo Fuente!
Casa Fuente is a cigar line that is made for the namesake Casa Fuente retail store, which is located in the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The shop itself opened in the summer of 2005 and was a partnership between Michael and Robert Frey of FreBoy Tobacco/CigarBox and Robert Levin of Holt’s/Ashton. It is the only cigar bar officially licensed by the Fuentes who are also closely associated with the aforementioned Holt’s and Tampa Sweetheart’s.

Rocky Patel ALR Second Edition cigar discussion
Trying Rocky Patel's ALR Second Edition, and much hyped, cigar. In 2016, Rocky blended a cigar featuring an exquisite San Andrés wrapper. Deciding that this blend would mature even further with age, Rocky ordered a short production run of 120,000 cigars. We don't know the contents of the rest of the blend, but this cigar did garner a 94 rating and #5 cigar of the year 2019.

Espinosa Murcielago cigar and braces discussion!
Finally got my hands on the Murcielago (batman?!) cigar from Espinosa!
"Murcielago (Spanish for ‘bat’) is the cigar closest Erik Espinosa’s heart. To restore the original essence of the blend, he collaborated with good friend AJ Fernandez to resurrect this classic. Made at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua and repackaged with a smart and clean design to usher in a new era; the Murcielago is a beautiful box pressed cigar with a mix of hearty Nicaraguan fillers and binder, wrapped in a delicious Mexican wrapper, which coats your mouth with flavors of cocoa and sweet spices." - Espinosa webpage

Drew Estate Liga Privada UF - 4 cigar review
Originally named, by Jonathan Drew, MF - 4 (you can guess what the MF stood for) but was changed quite quickly when it was discovered that My Father cigars had MF on their bands. Thus, MF became UF - 4 for Ultra Fuerte 4.
Part of the Unico Serie, UF - 4 has been likened to a T-52. Let's see what you think.

Davidoff The Late Hour cigar discussion
With the massive popularity of Camacho Barrel Aged cigars, Davidoff decided to bring barrel aging to their Winston Churchill line up in 2017. The Late Hour series has Nicaraguan filler aged in Speyside scotch barrels.
Three different tobacco leaves are used from the Dominican Republic to encompass that barrel aged Nicaraguan leaf. However, there is no ligero leaf in this cigar, making it a milder cigar than expected.
Enjoy this cigar without distractions!

While this cigar did not make Cigar Afficionado's top 25 list of 2021, it did land at the number 6 spot for Cigar Dojo.
Several sites have conflicting information on the tobacco leaf makeup of this cigar. I went straight to Altadis for the blend. Epic Vintage 12 comes in two vitolas, Blue Toro and Blue No.2 (6x50).

Southern Draw 300 Manos cigar with technical difficulties and battling extreme cold.
Be warned, the extreme cold wreaked havoc with my camera causing multiple issues.
We continue our Southern Draw Sampler Pack tour with 300 Manos (Hands), the second of five cigars in the pack.
It’s an old saying that as a premium cigar makes its journey “from seed to shelf”, an average of 300 pairs of hands are instrumental in its creation. Southern Draw’s 300 Manos is a limited run, budget-priced cigar line. 300 Manos was blended as an homage to the timeless craft of fine cigar making and in tribute to the hard-working people who bring these artisan smokes to life. Available in three unique wrapper shades, 300 Manos cigars are handmade to the highest industry standards at A.J. Fernandez Cigars in Esteli, Nicaragua. For the Habano-wrapped version the good folks decided to flip the name to its Spanish version, 300 Manos instead of Hands.

What is that noise? Trying to smoke my Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust StillWell Star English No.27 cigar!
Steve Saka and his crew at Dunbarton decided to give pipe tobacco a try, blending both pipe and cigar tobacco leaves together into one unique cigar. The resulting effort led to four unique cigar blends, each using a different pipe tobacco.
All the StillWell Star cigars come in one vitola, 6 x 52. Additionally, all have an Ecuadorian habano wrapper and a Mexican San Andrés cultivo tronto negro binder.
The English No.27 filler contains Burley and Turkish leaf with a generous portion of Cypriot Latakia pressed cake paired with Nicaraguan cigar tobaccos. Whew!

My first Fuente Fuente Opus X cigar! I may never be the same.
"The Fuente Fuente Opus X brand revolutionized the Dominican cigar industry when it was introduced in 1995. Nestled in the valley of El Cibao, Dominican Republic, lies Chateau de la Fuente, home to the most sought-after cigar of our time, the coveted Fuente Fuente OpusX. The mineral-rich soils of the Dominican Republic, once deemed unsuitable for wrapper tobacco, had never met with the efforts, intuition, and creativity of Carlos "Carlitos" Fuente Jr. The Fuente family then cultivated the glorious wrapper tobacco that became the foundation for the renowned Fuente Fuente Opus X cigars. The first-ever 100% Dominican Puro." - Cigar Country website
