Don't Become a Master of Evil!
We all become a master of something.
So what will you become a master of?
Don't become of master of evil.
Become a master of good.
What you practice and continually do becomes a habit.
You then become your habits.
Act accordingly.

Stop Putting Yourself and Others on a Pedestal! - Here's Why...
Website with verses on pride:
https://www.crossway.org/articles/10-key-bible-verses-on-pride/
Remember that no matter who you are or what you've done (good or bad), you must always show respect.
Treat others with dignity, whether you think they "deserve it" or not.
You don't have to roll out the red carpet for someone who's a bully. But don't treat them poorly, and thereby become a bully, yourself.
You are valuable. But so is a stranger.
Remember that, and act accordingly.

Be More Like Rowley = Save Yourself
Live righteously to the extent that someone knows they can tell you in as much as one sentence that you did wrong - and that's all it will take for you to do better.
Be also a person who leads a life of wisdom so that when YOU give correction, good people will respect and adhere to it.
We can't do much in regards to fools, except not be like them.
But in terms of good people: respect them, and live respectably too.

With Great Influence Comes Great Responsibility
Video discussed in intro:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6kd7KiNqgY
Remember to always be a good example. Because (whether you previously realized it or not), people look up to you. So steward that honor appropriately.
"Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,"
- Ephesians 4:1-2
[To be clear: I understand that in the video I (in a way) am explaining what a good man should be. And I also pulled up Marcus Aurelius' quote about not doing that (but rather just being a good man).
His point seems to be more so:
In your teaching of being good, don't forget to remain good, yourself].

Compliment a Guy = Make His Day
I should clarify that the context of giving the compliment will determine (to some extent) whether the man you gave it to will remember it.
I assume part of the reason that I remember what my friend told me is because it seemed to be out of nowhere. I hadn't just done some bench press right before my friend told me that I had a defined chest. And I'm sure most guys would appreciate any sort of compliment in relation to physical health or appearance anyway.
But again, I just wanted to use an example from my own life.
Regardless, compliments are nice anyway.
But knowing when to give them (and to not overdo it), is crucial.

Sometimes The Best Response is No Response...
Oftentimes (if not all the time), when someone is hurling random insults, it's because they want to get an impulsive reaction out of you. So don't give it to them!
It is true, you should silence the ignorance of foolish people at times.
(1 Peter 2:15)
But you also must refrain from speaking in the hearing of a fool (sometimes).
(Proverbs 23:9)
Context is important, so use this rule appropriately (depending on who you are conversing with).

My Most Awkward Moment Ever... (And How to Avoid Moments Like it)
This "lesson" is more so a "do with it what you will" situation.
Most of my videos are about topics in which I believe there is an obvious right and wrong. But today's video is more so a fun story and a lesson I learned that could be helpful.
The idea is to turn awkward situations into funny ones (if at all possible [which it usually is[). Again: Do with this information what you will.
I'd love to hear your awkward stories in the comments!
Anyway, thank you for watching on RUMBLE.
More videos on the way.

Use This Powerful Strategy for Greater Humility
The goal in doing good should be just that - doing good!
The ultimate goal should never be recognition.
If you do good, you should get recognition.
But that shouldn't be what drives you to do good.
So do good today, for that goal (in itself).
Do good so as to treat others the way you want to be treated, to love God, and love your neighbor.

Respond Respectfully - ALWAYS
"Do not answer a fool according to his foolishness, Or you will also be like him. Answer a fool as his foolishness deserves, So that he will not be wise in his own eyes."
- Proverbs 26:4-5
That about sums it up.
It's often tempting to respond to a fool in the same way they have just interacted with you. But think about it. If their actions have just deemed them foolish, the last thing you want to do is behave like them!
So respond respectfully always. Even if that means putting someone in their place. Do so. But do it respectfully. And thereby refrain from becoming a fool, yourself.

New 21 Pilots Song Exposes Relevant Issue in Today's World
You can't help everyone. So help everyone you can, to any extent you can.
I love the story that is told through this song.
There are several different themes throughout it.
And all of them are great.
I hope you received the message of the video!

Don't Be a Pushover, But Don't Be a Jerk
To find the fine line between both extremes (being strong [but a jerk] and being kind [but weak]) - it's no easy task.
But as we work on it and actively practice it in real-time (conversations and interactions), we will progress and it will become a habit to behave respectfully.
We will become strong, but not rude.
We will become kind, but not weak.

Should You Love Yourself? (Not The Way You Think)
What does it mean to love yourself?
Well if you have no foundation for your values and beliefs then it probably means something to the likes of: "fulfill all your wants, all the time". (But that definition is ever-changing if (again) you have no foundation for your beliefs).
There is a consistent definition of how we ought to love ourselves. And it's found in The Word.
Today we dive into what exactly it means to love yourself in a God-pleasing way.

Overtake Your Former Self!
The most recent song released by twenty one pilots has inspired me.
And I don't mean the entire message behind the song.
A single line has been living in my head since the song released.
"Overtake your former self".
What's one way you can do that today?
Figure it out.
And hop to it!
Check out the song!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53tgVlXBZVg&ab_channel=twentyonepilots

Overcome now, or never...
Overcome today.
If you don't give up, expose, and release what's been causing you to sin, it will only get more and more difficult to do so!
Don't let temptation get the best of you and turn you into someone you're not.
Overcome today!
Turn to Christ for the full power to overcome.

If Sinners Entice You, DO NOT CONSENT
"My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent."
Proverbs 1:10
For those of us who have the Holy Spirit in us (given when we accept Jesus as our savior into our hearts by confessing with our mouth and believing in our hearts that Jesus is God and that God raised Him from the grave on the third day) - Not only do we have the option to say no to sin, but we are commanded to do so!
If sinners entice you, do not consent.
That's an order.

If You Want a Full Life, First Comes Death...
Put to death your former self.
Put to death that restraining idea.
Whatever it is that's holding you back. Put it to death.
Only then can you be resurrected as your better self.
Just as Jesus had to die, to be resurrected, we too have to put our former selves (and ideas and propensities) to death before we can become who we we want to be (who we are called to be).
What idea, habit, (or anything that hinders you) do you have to put to death?

We Need to Bring This Powerful Phrase Back!
How dare you?!
That's a phrase that needs to be brought back. Or at least a phrase like that.
Stop letting foolish people embarrass you. If a dumb comment is made, ask them to elaborate. If someone is disrespectful, just simply tell them to show some respect.
Though the foolish person may not listen, hopefully, they at least think about the interaction (especially by your appeal to a noble motive = respect).
"For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people."

Don't Be Fooled! Opportunities Are Sometimes Disguised as Misfortune - Here's My Story
Great opportunities don't come around every day.
So if one comes your way, TAKE IT. Even if at first you're not jumping for joy at the thought of it.
For sometimes great opportunities are disguised as just work or some form of misfortune. But again, that's only a disguise!

Begin in a Friendly Way = Success With People
Remember to not view a discussion (even if it's about a disagreement) as a battle between you and the other person.
Approach the conversation with kindness. And just watch how effectively you get your message across. And also consider the joy of keeping or earning the goodwill of your friend by respectfully having a conversation (even if, again, it's based on a disagreement).

Why You Should Value Your Work, Not The TIME SPENT Working
Don't count the days. Make the days count.
Don't count the hours of work. Make the work count.
Even if you're paid hourly, value your time by the lasting value behind it (not by the amount of time worked).
This goes for studies and training too.
Make the time spent count!

A Hypocrite Can Be a Great Teacher... Here's why
I'd rather fail sometimes at staying true to what I know I ought to do (and be labeled a hypocrite for it) than not have any sort of good foundation of "shoulds" and "should nots".
If you've messed up, admit it. And then teach others why they shouldn't do what you did.
