According to the only current Latina Board member this policy is the "most racist policy we have" as it is keeping thousands of students from accessing in person learning. This is continuing the disproportionate damage done to disadvantaged communities.

Interim President Kindred Murillo at SBCC 8/18/22 Gives timeline for removal of the temporary Covid policy and the codification of a Covid-19 vaccine requirement. Last meeting the Policy Committee recommended they not give Pregnant women exemptions and all boosters should be added to the permanent policy. They are going to do ANOTHER survey with the remaining students and faculty, most likely to try with a more mandate favorable demographic.

With news that Kate Ford is not running for office, SBUSD Board of Trustees, her successor has been chosen. Gabe Escobedo, SB City Planning Commission, had not pulled paperwork but had until the next Wednesday because the seats incumbent is not running. There are 2 other candidates who have pulled paperwork; Efigenia Banales and Dan La Berge. Joshua Molina predicts the race will go to Gabe because of the amount of endorsements he already has from the establishment Dems.

Trustee Marsha Croninger at SBCC 7/25/22 Requests medical exemptions be included on the policy but pregnant woman be REMOVED from exemption. Requests language to include all new boosters.

How can anyone trust these people?

Never forget who made the decisions to force experimental medical treatments and lockdowns. Hart is now running for CA Assembly and was the main conduit for the Dem Party Covid Policy in SB County - don't let the supermajority have another rubber stamp for their misguided agenda.
