Perhaps the best gaming news I've seen in years! The rumors and pleas have finally been answered and Legend of Dragoon is coming to PSN NEXT WEEK! it's got some minor improvements, not even needed to me, but I'm just SO excited people will be able to play this, especially all those who missed this absolute hidden gem back in the day! So here we are again, we knew this would happen and said so in the part 1 months ago. Nothing but virtue signaling to try and avoid the twitter mob. If this game was truly offensive, it would still be equally offensive today. All the displaced people are still displaced, all the people who died are still dead. It's silly to think that the victims of the Russian Ukraine war would magically be cool with this because it's been memory holed by the rest of normies of the world. While I am excited people will get to play a series that's been long dead, I can't help but think they've just been stumbling every step of the way with this remake. It doesn't seem like this is going to release to much fanfare, nor success and it's a shame that this great series is probably going to die because of it. I genuinely hope #nintendo doesn't put too much stock in this game's success or failures. This is not against Nintendo, I ADORE Nintendo. I'm sure the game will be great as well. I absolutely love advance wars games, specifically Days of Ruin being my favorite. Last I checked I had 350 hours in that game. So fun to pass and play with a buddy. So Forspoken just dropped to mid reviews, which is exactly what I said in my gameplay stream back when the demo dropped, and already the hot takes full of copium are coming in to say that the only reason you don't like the game is because you're clearly a racist. There's apparently no other reason to hate the game. But then Polygon goes a full loop around and says the game isn't racist enough... I don't know what world these people in, no one actually cares. It's doing meh because it's a meh game and that's totally fine. The world needs 6/10's sometimes and maybe I'll get this in a bargain one day.
