The river is so high the 20+ foot waterfall is barely noticeable in the Lakes region NH.

Juvenile Bald Eagle attempts to snatch a squirrel from the river. I drifted to close by accident and most likely saved the life of the squirrel. The juvenile predator had tried two other times before I got the phone out recording. Practicing these skills is important for these birds.

I always catch and release every fish. No harm done, they can grow bigger for the future.

I took this drifting in my kayak a couple of weeks ago. I thought for sure the turtle would dive for safety but he/she stayed right there. I love turtles. I see more snappers than any other type so its nice to see something different.

I drifted toward a Blue Heron in my kayak. I got a little too close and he flew away. These birds are massive up close. They have a 6 foot wing span and I see them quite often on the water.

I was silently drifting and I noticed two of the biggest Snappers I have ever seen on a log. The left turtle was just massive.
