Transformers Studio Series '86 - Rumble Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Studio Series ’86 Core class Decepticon Rumble! This is Rumble as we saw him in the 1986 animated Transformers movie from Sunbow.
Both modes look outstanding. His cassette mode is nice, but he really shines in his bot mode with his piledrivers.
Articulation is pretty decent for Core class. Due to the design of his piledrivers, there’s no elbow / becep joint, but the sacrifice is worth it.
Quality is good. I have no major issues with the figure. My only concern is long-term, with the use of ball joints.
Overall value is on point with MSRP. I paid $8.49 USD at a local Target, and there’s no doubt he’s worth it.
My conclusion – SS-86 Rumble is a figure you’re certainly going to want to pick up if you’re a fan of the 1986 movie or cartoons. He looks the part, he’s fun to play with, accessories are fun, transformation is intuitive, and just overall fits right in with the rest of that ’86 studio series line. You’re certainly going to enjoy having Rumble side by side with Megatron and Soundwave as they take on Optimus Prime and the Autobot forces.

Fans Toys - FT-49 Phantasm (Mirage) Transformation and Full Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Fans Toys FT-49 Phantasm. This is their take on a masterpiece G1 Autobot Mirage.
This is an incredible looking figure in both modes. He accurately captures the cartoon version of Mirage, and still honors the original G1 toy wit thoughtful touches and details throughout.
Articulation is what one would expect, but I would have like more in the head and feet.
Accessories are very well done. You get a rifle, missile, two heads, and four faces total. I feel like they should have also included something in regards to his cloaking.
Overall quality is good, but I do have a gap in my figure where the cockpit meets the nose of the car. Other than that, all joints are tight, and the figure transforms / tabs together as it should.
This was a preorder from TheChosenPrime.com, and the price was $160 USD. I think the figure is worth it.
My conclusion – I would encourage you to pick this figure up if you have the means. You get a high-quality, fun to transform, incredibly accurate figure that looks great in both modes. No doubt about it, Phantasm (Mirage) looks like he jumped off the screen and is ready to join Optimus Prime in battle against Megatron and the Decepticon forces for control of Earth and Cybertron.

Transformers Masterpiece - MP-54 Reboost Unboxing
In this unboxing / reveal, we’ll be taking a quick look at the Transformers Masterpiece MP-54 Reboost. This is an alternate Diaclone version of the Masterpiece Skids.
This figure has been around for a while, but I just picked him up from BBTS.com on a Black Friday sale, and thought it would be worth an unboxing.
First impressions – I am far more impressed with this figure than I was expecting. Quality is good, accessories are impressive, and he has a seriously good shelf presence. Alt mode is wonderful, as would be expected from an officially licensed Honda product.
This dude definitely looks like he’s ready to jump into battle against Megatron and the Decepticon forces to stand side by side with Optimus Prime and the Autobot resistance in defense of Cybertron.
Full review to come out…sometime. Bear with me, I’ll get to it eventually!

Fans Toys FT-29 - Quietus (Cyclonus) Unboxing
In this unboxing / reveal, we’ll be taking a quick look at the Fans Toys FT-29 Quietus. This is their take on Cyclonus.
This figure has been around for a while, but I just picked him up from TFSource.com on a Black Friday sale, and thought it would be worth an unboxing.
First impressions – he looks great, feels good in the hand, and comes with a slew of accessories. Just from a shelf presence standpoint, he seems to be a worthy servant to Lord Galvatron and Unicron.

APC Toys - Night Countess (Airachnid) Unboxing
In this unboxing / reveal, we’ll be taking a quick look at the APC Toys Night Countess! This is their take on Airachnid from the Transformers Prime animated series.
She looks great overall, but I’m not sure if I’m bought in yet on the use of ball joints. I’ve also found that although the extra spider legs are great, there’s really not much fun to be had when posing.
We’ll discuss in greater detail when I do my full review, but for now, she absolutely looks like she’s ready to join Megatron and the Decepticon forces against Arcee, Optimus Prime, and the Autobot resistance.

NewAge Firefox (G1 Jetfire) - Full Review / Transformation
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the New Age Toys Firefox! This is their take on a Legends scaled animated Skyfire / Jetfire.
This is an incredible looking figure in both modes. Bot mode is proportionate, and towers over other Legends scaled figures. The figure has a three-sided rotating chestplate that allows him to be an Autobot, Decepticon, or Neutral. The alt mode looks sleek and relatively unbroken. It has functional landing gear, but could have benefited from rolling wheels.
Firefox is highly articulated, including an ab crunch. About the only thing missing is individually articulated fingers.
He comes with one accessory, which is his rifle. It’s a finely made accessory, but this figure really needed something more.
Overall quality is very good for Firefox. I don’t have any issues with my copy other than ever-so-slightly loose joints on ankles.
I purchased this figure from ShowZstore.com for $89 USD, and I feel like the value is definitely there at that price point.
My conclusion – I highly recommend this figure. He looks great, the quality is high, the price is good, the transformation is actually fun, and he’s just plain enjoyable to play with. This figure is ready to join Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots in battle against Megatron, Starscream, and the Decepticon forces.

Fans Toys - FT-49 Phantasm (G1 Mirage) Unboxing and 1st Impression
In this unboxing / reveal, we’ll be taking a quick look at the Fans Toys FT-49 Phantasm! This is their take on a masterpiece scale Mirage.
Fit, finish, quality, and aesthetics are top-notch, and everything we’ve come to expect from the premier MP scaled 3rd party company out there.
Articulation is done very well, and he looks wonderful in bot mode. Initial impressions are that this figures completely captures that G1 Autobot spy to a tee.
This is a wonderful figure that looks like he’s ready to join Optimus Prime in battle against Megatron and the Decepticon forces in defense of Cybertron and Earth!

Transformers Studio Series '86 - Ironhide Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Studio Series ’86 Voyager Class Ironhide! This is Ironhide as we saw him (oh so briefly) in the 1986 animated Transformers movie from Sunbow.
Both modes look outstanding. He’s not perfect, but for this price point, the figure is very well done and has a great shelf presence.
Articulation is about as good as it gets for a figure at this price. About the only thing missing is an ab crunch, but you won’t have any issues getting this Autobot in some great poses.
Quality overall is pretty good. I do have a thigh that is a little loose, and an unsightly gap in his Nissan Cherry Van mode, but everything else is done very well.
Overall value is on point with MSRP. I paid $32 USD at a local Target. I think this figure is definitely worth the price.
My conclusion – SS-86 17 Ironhide is a figure you’re certainly going to want to pick up if you’re a fan of the 1986 movie or cartoons. He looks the part, he’s fun to play with, accessories are fun, transformation is intuitive, and just overall fits right in with the rest of that ’86 studio series line. It’s a shame he was taken out in the shuttle by Megatron and the Decepticon forces. I would’ve enjoyed seeing this character fight side-by-side with Rodimus Prime as much as I enjoyed him with Optimus.

New Age Toys - Firefox (Jetfire) Unboxing
In this unboxing / reveal, we’ll be taking a quick look at the New Age “Air Guardian Firefox”! This is their take on a Legends scaled masterpiece Jetfire / Skyfire. Full review with complete transformation will follow shortly, but I wanted to get this out so everyone could see the figure for themselves.
Fit, finish, quality, and aesthetics are top-notch, and everything we’ve come to expect from the premier legends scaled 3rd party company out there.
Articulation is done very well, and he looks wonderful in bot mode. The figure looks to be loosely based on the Transformers Siege Commander Class Jetfire.
This is a wonderful figure that looks like he’s ready to join Optimus Prime in battle against Megatron and the Decepticon forces in defense of Cybertron and Earth!

Transformers Studio Series - DOTM Laserbeak Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Core Class Decepticon Laserbeak from the Michael Bay film, Dark of the Moon. This is Laserbeak as we saw him in his “Power Wheels” Bumblebee Camaro mode.
Both modes look good for a core class, and the alt mode is that Camaro licensed by GM.
Articulation is sub-par on this figure. Limited head, and nothing at the waist or wrists. Thigh rotation is very minor, and there is no ankle tilt.
Quality is good. The only issue I have on my copy is a bit of a gap in alt mode.
Overall value is on point with MSRP. I paid $8.49 USD at a local Target store, and I’m just fine with that price.
My conclusion – this is an OK core class figure. He’s certainly not the best out there, but it’s still fun to see Laserbeak from what is arguably one of the creepiest scenes from the Bayverse films. And of course, the winged henchman is always ready to serve Soundwave and Lord Megatron to help stop Optimus Prime and the Autobot forces.

Transformers Crossover - Megatron / Cobra HISS Tank Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers / G.I. Joe Crossover Decepticon Megatron Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank!
This is a huge figure that looks good in bot mode, but absolutely shines in alt mode.
Articulation is adequate, but it feels like a step back from what is considered “the norm” nowadays. No wrist, waist, or ankle articulation.
Quality is almost very good. I have minor paint transfer on one of the arms, but everything else is fine.
Overall value is going to be hugely subjective. This figure relies on 80’s nostalgia in order to justify the $90 price tag. Alt mode is definitely where the value is for this figure. An added bonus is the inclusion of the Baroness figure.
My conclusion – If you grew up watching GI Joe and The Transformers after you came home from school, then this is almost a dream come true. I would’ve liked to have seem a bit more engineering in the figure and less hollow areas, but it’s still a blast to have this figure in hand and relive a bit of childhood. This certainly makes a convincing case of Megatron and the Decepticon forces teaming up with Cobra Commander to vie for world domination and take out Optimus Prime, GI Joe, and the Autobot resistance.

Transformers Legacy - Tarantulas Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Legacy Deluxe-Class Predacon Tarantulas!
This is an incredible-looking deluxe class figure. Both modes look great.
Articulation is very well done. He is highly articulated other than the limited head movement. You will have no problems posing this figure.
Quality is almost perfect for this figure. My biggest complaint is the damaged box, but the figure is great.
Overall value is definitely here for the figure. MSRP is $25, but I picked this guy up at a local flea market for $15. He was unopened, but the box was severely damaged.
My conclusion – Tarantulas is the Beast Wars Predacon we’ve been waiting for to join the rest of the family from the Kingdom line. He’s ready to join Megatron in battle against Optimus Primal and the Maximal forces.

Transformers Studio Series '86 - Wheelie Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Studio Series ’86 Core-Class Wheelie!
Both modes look great for the child Autobot. Very well done for a core class mainline figure.
Articulation is what we’ve come to expect from this price point, but he could have benefited from some ankle tilt. Otherwise you won’t have any issues posing the little guy.
Overall quality is very good. If only all Hasbro figures were built this well…
Concerning overall value, no doubt this little guy is worth the money. Great shelf presence in both modes, and just a whole lot of fun. I picked this figure up from Bestbuy.com for $11.
My conclusion – Wheelie is a figure you’re going to want to pick up. He looks like he’s ready to jump into battle with Grimlock, Optimus Prime, and the rest of the Autobot resistance to battle Megatron, Unicron, and the Decepticon army for control of Cyberton and Earth.

Star Wars The Black Series - Dark Trooper Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Star Wars Black Series Dark Trooper!
This is the dark trooper we saw in the Disney series, The Mandalorian, and was built to serve Moff Gideon.
The figure looks absolutely fantastic. Articulation is what we’ve come to expect from the Black Series. The figure comes with rocket effects that attach to the bottoms of the boots to replicate the flight mode seen on the show.
Overall, this is a high-quality figure with great shelf presence, and he’s certainly ready to fight for the New Order against the rebels and help the Dark Side seize control of the galaxy. Highly recommended!

Transformers Legacy - Wildrider (chunk-o-Menasor) Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Legacy Deluxe-Class Decepticon Wildrider.
The hot-headed Stunticon looks sublime in his alt mode. His bot mode also looks good, but that alt mode is the chef’s kiss (for a deluxe-class).
Articulation is what we’ve come to expect from this price point, but the head and feet a somewhat limited in movement.
Overall quality is very good. If anything, I would say that the ratchet joints near the knees that are used for transformation are just a bit too tight. Otherwise this figure should be the benchmark for quality for Hasbro / Takara.
Concerning overall value, I believe that the figure is worth MSRP. Great shelf presence in both modes, and just a whole lot of fun. Not to mention that he’s one of the components for Menasor! I picked this guy up from BigBadToyStore online for $24 USD on preorder.
My conclusion – Wildrider is worth the money. He looks like he’s ready to jump into battle with Megatron and join his fellow Stunticons to destroy Optimus Prime and the Autobot forces.

Transformers Studio Series '86 - Arcee Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Studio Series ’86 #16 Deluxe-Class Arcee. This is Arcee as we saw her in the 1986 Transformers: The Movie feature film.
The fierce female Autobot warrior looks great in her alt mode. Bot mode looks good, but suffers from the same big backpack we’ve come to expect from all Arcee figures.
She has good articulation, and even comes with an ab crunch, which is welcome!
Overall quality is very good. Even though she has ball joints for her shoulders, they are nice and tight. I don’t have any major quality issues with this figure.
Regarding value, I think she’s worth the MSRP. Good quality and a great shelf presence make her an easy recommendation. I purchased this figure for $24 USD from Amazon.
My conclusion – Arcee is a figure worth picking up. She’s a better design than what we got from the WFC line with high quality and looks good in both modes.

Transformers Studio Series - #88 Sideways Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Studio Series #88 Deluxe Class Sideways. This is Sideways as we saw him (briefly) in Revenge of the Fallen.
The Decepticon looks good in bot mode, but alt mode suffers from panel lines, mushroom pegs, and the fact that it is not a licensed Audi.
Overall quality is poor. Shoulders, elbows, hips, and ankles are all loose, and they’re ball joints.
I do not believe this figure is worth the cost. I picked it up for $23 at a local Target, but I cannot recommend it. Although shelf presence in bot mode is good, there is too much “bad” to overcome.
My conclusion – SS88 Sideways is a pass unless you’re a hardcore collector or completionist. I really wanted to like this figure but I just can’t make a recommendation for something with such low quality out of the box.

Fans Toys - FT-52 Aussie (G1 Outback) Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Fans Toys FT-52 Aussie. This figure is their take on a masterpiece scaled G1 Autobot Outback.
Fit, finish, quality, and aesthetics are top-notch, and everything we’ve come to expect from the premier 3rd party company out there.
Unfortunately, articulation suffers. He has very limited movement in the head, waist, and hips. It’s disappointing for a figure at this price point.
However, for the most part, this is a wonderful figure that looks like he’s ready to join Optimus Prime in battle against Megatron and the Decepticon forces in defense of Cybertron and Earth!

Transformers Legacy - Knockout Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Legacy Deluxe-Class Prime Universe Decepticon Knockout
This vain Decepticon officer looks good in both modes, but he really shines in his alt mode. A little bit of paint would have made him almost perfect. He comes with two accessories that combine to make his Trident so he can pretend to be Poseidon (or Aquaman).
Overall quality is very good. All the joins are tight, paint and sculpt work are very well done.
I think the value is here for the figure. I picked him up from BigBadToyStore.com for $26 USD, but I’m sure he’ll be a few dollars cheaper if you can find him in retail.
My conclusion – Legacy Knockout is a figure worthy of adding to your collection. No doubt, he is definitely ready to join Megatron and the rest of the Decepticons in the fight against Optimus Prime and the Autobot forces.

Transformers Legacy - Elita-1 Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Legacy Deluxe-Class Autobot Elita-1!
The fierce female Cybertronian warrior looks good in both modes, with overall good articulation. She comes with two unique translucent blue rifles. Both Elita-1 and her guns are overflowing with 5mm ports, so she is fully blast effect compatible
Overall quality is very good. All the joins are tight, paint and sculpt work are very well done.
I think the vale is here for the figure. I picked her up from BigBadToyStore.com for $26 USD, but I’m sure she’ll be a few dollars cheaper if you can find her in retail.

Transformers Studio Series '86 - Core Class Ratchet Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Studio Series ’86 Core Class Ratchet!
The famed Autobot medic looks good in both modes, and he is a great homage to that G1 toon style Ratchet we saw in the 1986 movie. He come with two blast effect “compatible” pistols, and his articulation is pretty good for his size.
Overall quality is very good. All the joins are tight, paint and sculpt work are very well done.
Great price on this figure. I picked him up at a local Target for $9 USD.
My conclusion – Studio Series ’86 Ratchet is a figure worthy of adding to your collection. No doubt, he is definitely ready to fight side by side with Optimus Prime and the Autobot forces to defend Earth and Cybertron from Megatron and the Decepticon threat.

In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Boba Fett Starship.
This micro-scaled bounty hunter and his ship is loaded with details and playability. It comes with two micro figures: Boba Fett and Fennic Shand.
This is a very cool take on Boba Fett’s ship. This set looks like it’s ready to jump onto the screen and join the battle with Darth Vader and the Empire against Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance, or even become lord of Tattooine and fill the vacuum left after Jabba the Hut met his fate at the hands of Princess Leia.

Transformers Legacy - Cosmos Review
In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Legacy Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection Autobot Cosmos!
This Deluxe class figure looks good in bot mode, but I absolutely adore the alt UFO mode. He just screams G1 Cosmos. My biggest issue with the bot mode is the fact that the forearms very obvious hollow areas.
Overall quality is good except for the shoulder joints. They are disappointingly loose on my copy. He never should’ve gotten past QC with joints that loose.
I picked this figure up for $25 at my local Walmart. The price is a little higher than I would have liked, but I believe this Cosmos is worth it.
My conclusion – Legacy Cosmos is a figure worthy of adding to your collection. No doubt, he is definitely ready to fight side by side with Optimus Prime and the Autobot forces to defend Earth and Cybertron from Megatron and the Decepticon threat.
