Mooska finally got to go on her trip in the DogSled! From Minneapolis to Springfield IL (for the Mother Road Festival) and back, there was no drama, no breakdowns, and lots of great people! It was time for a little shakedown, and they put another 105 miles on the Dog-Sled. Mooska even got to go for her first ride in her car! For those that want to know, she is an Eurasier. The clutch is a lot easier to push now! This added a bit of hassle, but in the long run it was a probably good choice. Still a lot to do, but this is getting closer every day!

The 66 Catalina Wagon project has Rally II wheels from late 70's full size Pontiac cars on it. The fronts are KE code and measure 15x6 and the rears are KD code and measure 15x7. What a fun and terrifying day! We did a little maintenance on Sweat Pea, added a bunch of finish trim to the Dog Sled, and moved the 55 over to the 4 post. Of course it was 100F outside, we had to have the doors open for over an hour!

It is time to start test fitting the new Gold-Line tires! Unfortunately, one of them has a bulge in the sidewall, so we need to get it replaced. Wheel tubs always cause problems on the rear interior! Also this TMI interior almost fits, but is off in a few areas that have required some terrifying surgery.
