I found a working microwave in someone's trash about 7 to 8 years ago, and used it until it stopped working. Now I will take it apart on video to show you all the cool and useful parts you can salvage from a microwave oven. Don't try this unless you're a certified professional like me, myself, and Irene.

This is an overview of all the luscious booty that can be extracted from this type of LCD TV, most notably a large and flexible Fresnel lens sheet, a strong and thick piece of Plexiglas or Polycarbonate, a large circuit board and other electronic parts, and some long LED strips with large aluminum heatsinks.

Don't take microwaves apart, or you will be dead. For SERIOUS, experienced, and certified professionals only. This very serious video shows the basic principles of safe capacitor discharge. Note that the bottom screwdriver touches the metal casing of the microwave, which could electrify the entire microwave. So, not the best method.
