After two and a half weeks of having her farrowing nest fenced off it's time to re-introduce her and her chunky piglets to the rest of the herd.

After missing breakfast along with Momma, I stumbled upon my missing Bacon and her new bacon bits. Https://SasquatchWallows.com

Momma and Bacon weren't at breakfast this morning. Found momma, but no piglets yet.

Momma is pregnant but not scheduled to farrow for another week. Yet she was letting these guys nurse this afternoon.

I'm embarrassed because Scar charged and barked at me while "protecting" her piglets and I screamed like a little girl.

I've decided that once these piglets are weaned, scary is being made into sausage.

The herd decided to see what all the fuss was at Scar's nest.

It's always fun to watch the pigs move onto a new paddock.

We're moving the sow herd up to the pond loop for farrowing and butchering.

One piglet is missing this morning. I think it got crushed or possibly swallowed into the nest.

Almost as soon as I got the sheep fence set up for Scar and her babies, the rest of the herd appeared to check things out.

In the wild momma pigs eat their afterbirth so as to not attract predators and for the nutrition. Yum!

All was surprisingly well with the piglets in the middle of the night.
