Death Star I and Borg Cube Size Comparison
"We see here the Death Star" and a Borg Cube hanging out at the superlaser to provide a sense of the scale of the two monstrosities.
I'm not sure where the DS1 model originated, but the Cube is from the Delta Quadrant Project mod of Star Trek: Bridge Commander, with SketchUp as the video creation tool. I claim no credit for the models, which are used with a nod toward fair use for research and educational purposes, with the video itself licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International.

Norway Class Starship Partial DeWeirdify
I always had a bit of a soft spot for the Norway Class design. Unlike some of the other Star Trek: First Contact ships, the nacelles were relatively close to normal. Alas, then I ended up really looking at it once and realized I actually kinda hated it. The entire nacelle attachment setup was bonkers, what with the tuning fork connected to giant flat wings for nacelle pylons and literal tons of unnecessary clamping action once you reached the otherwise-nice nacelles.
Here, I attempt to make it a bit more "Starfleet Clean", and feel free to tell me where I missed. (Obviously, the extra mass in the middle of the tuning fork needs aesthetic help, but at least it's not so forked up.)
Maybe I'll come back to that godawful deflector pit up front one day . . .
Disclaimer: I did not create this model, only modified it . . . it was obtained via the Google / Trimble SketchUp 3-D Warehouse from user Kuno H., and is used with a nod toward fair use for research / educational / critical purposes, with the video itself licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International.

Can you fit a Star Wars X-Wing in a Star Trek Constitution Class Enterprise?
SothManigan on Twitter once inquired about fitting an X-Wing (officially 12.5 meters long) into the shuttlebay of the Constitution Class Enterprise. Here we have comparisons of this with both the A-type and B-type Constitution (sorry, the X-Wing S-foils are locked in attack position). It looks to me like either would produce a fit, even with S-foils unlocked, but it's a bit tight.
I created none of these models, only scaled them . . . all were obtained via the Google / Trimble SketchUp 3-D Warehouse and are used with a nod toward fair use for research and educational purposes, with the video itself licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International.
