This amazing mountain village in Spain is located right in the middle of all the common tourist attractions of southern Spain. We learned about it late in our time in Spain, but we were able to make a few foreys up in the mountain. This quiet village, complete with restaurant, bakery, chocolate store, and a water canal in the middle of the street provided much needed R&R.

In this travel vlog the family and I visit a spring in a mountain gorge in southern Spain. The shade and cool running water is a nice contrast to the surrounding terrain. ... I wanted to name this one "Mennonite Spring Break" but I still don't have the nerve to shamelessly click-bait yet.

This castle was a filming location for Patton and for Game of Thrones. For me, it was the closest of Spain's fortresses and a place I loved to visit. It was a must see for anyone that visited us while we were in Spain and will always guard a treasure-trove of memories.

One from the archives. I made this video in 2008 to poke fun at the misconception that the food in Morocco must be hard to get used to. Clearly it is not. While the Moroccan specifics are quite interesting, Moroccan and American staples have many similarities. Hamburgers, chicken, and even French fries are in great supply.
