3. Picks & Techniques That Get Easier With Callouses
Briefly cover some different sizes of picks and brands that I prefer (Dunlop Tortex & Dunlop Gator Grip), not saying you have to use it but just find something that works, experiment with various brands/thicknesses.
Then I use Slayer's Seasons In The Abyss to demonstrate some techniques that I remember being difficult early on but came easier once the callouses were well formed on my finger tips.
Please remember, I'm self taught barely making it to intermediate stages. All the videos I used were from highly skilled guitarists. This video is raw including mistakes, no editing. As always I'm open for constructive criticism that may help me improve.

2. Tuning & The Capo
In this lesson, I cover the difference between standard E tuning that most people are using where the strings from low to high are E A D G B E and what is referred to as 'half step down' where you bring down all the strings half a note. I don't cover how to tune, just the differences between them using fairly easy to learn Metallica & Slayer riffs.
I am self taught for past 4 years, still have lots to learn and make lots of mistakes. Constructive criticism/advise from skilled guitarists is welcome.

Beginner Guitar Tips To Avoid Bad Habits
This is a quick lesson covering a few of the bad habits I picked up while self-teaching guitar over past 4 years. These habits are very hard to break, hoping to save others from the same struggles I'm still having due to these bad habits that keep getting in the way.
My guitar is tuned down a half step for this recording so if you are trying to play along with the chord examples it won't sound the same unless you are also tuned down. I'll cover more about the tuning options in next video.
