Tutorial: Clean hands that aren't too dry helps. The fingerprints of the thumb and ring finger, then middle finger, need to able to grip*, rather than slide past easily. While pressing the two firmly together, start moving the thumb towards the index (first) finger. Then the ring finger will lose it's grip and slap down against the heel of the hand, followed by the middle finger. Snapping the ring finger can be harder, or easier for some ppl. Once you have it down pat, you can be super rude snapping your fingers at waitstaff and hotel clerks. Good luck!!! *If you want to increase the grip of your fingertips, either lick your thumb a bit, or Sortkwik works really well too. It's a non toxic glycerin compound that office workers use when dealing with lots of paper.
