I will be with you to comfort you during your storms! " America this song is for you! Rick Anthony, For many years i would sing this song in my basement shower. So it was only fitting to make this video in my shower. I re-wrote this song a little bit at a time, the way I like it, but the message is the same! It was a load of fun and I enjoyed making it. This is part 1, I did the video only in one take, so there are a few mistakes. I will be making a part 2 and will upload it as soon as I get the time. I recorded all the music and vocals on my home studio, Logic pro recording equipment at about 77 beets per minute. I always thought Petra did it a bit to slow. let me now if you like it. Took me about 2 weeks to re-write it the way I wanted it to sound and in my own style. I still love Petra, been listening to them since 1970's thru the 80's. Bob Hartman of Petra wrote this song / message from Jesus. Way to go Bob!

I re-wrote this Petra song because I thought it was to slow. I loved singing this song always in the shower, so since I got stuck in the bathroom, I thought I would go ahead and go for it. I recorded all instruments and vocals myself in my Logic Pro home studio. Totally fun. Let me know how you like it. Recorded it at about 77 bpm.

It tries to pull me back into the world - but I am not going to let it. It's not about how famous a person or band is! It's all about Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God! It's about were your going to go when you die? Will it be Heaven or or will it be Hell? It's your choice, God gives us the choice! Jesus came to me - I have seen Jesus! I talked to Him face to face for about 30 minutes! I believe God has directed your here to read this message. God Loves you! He does not want you to die in your sins. No more devil! No more evil! No more wicked people on the earth! I will never give up on Jesus or God our Father who created us! He is always with me and will never let Him go. Hello Mark Farner - if your seeing this contact me. I heard you excepted Jesus Christ as your savior, I hope you are still following Jesus. Let us never forget that He is the way the truth and the life! We must come out of this world and totally follow Jesus! I am 64 years old and grew up listening to Mark Farner / Grand Funk Railroads music. It was that type of music that helped me backslide and turn away from God. I no longer listen to it or play it anymore! I am very careful about what type of music I listen to. I totally gave up on secular music and got saved when I was 12 years old, then back slid because of friends and the devil and Bands like Grand Funk Railroad, Kiss, Black sabbath. There music is not directed to God but to the Devil and the sin of the world. I found that out the hard way! I then came back to Jesus when I was 17 years old and began writing and playing Christian rock music in Church's and youth groups. Jesus spoke to me and said he wanted me to play for Him.
