Twila Brase - Health Care Freedom; HIPAA
Twila Brase is co-founder and president of Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom (CCHF), an organization whose focus is on protecting medical freedom and privacy.
Twila defines two aspects of health freedom as the public health sphere (government involvement) and the private exam room, and how we are in danger of losing our freedom and privacy in both realms.
She reveals how HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act) does nothing to protect medical privacy, and why efforts to repeal the UPI (Unique Patient Identifier - part of HIPAA) are so important.
This, and more, can be found in her book, Big Brother in the Exam Room: The Dangerous Truth About Electronic Health Records.
Additionally, Twila discusses the importance of early treatment and therapeutics in the management of Covid-19.
