The U.S. now faces tropical threats on both the Gulf and East Coasts, and possibly the West Coast if something very rare happens. Carlos is strengthening in the Pacific. However, it will not impact land.

A trough in the southern Gulf could become a major problem for the southern U.S. by the end of next week, Southern Mexico is still dealing with heavy rain from multiple tropical waves, and Tropical Depression Three has formed in the Eastern Pacific.

Hurricane Ida is moving through Western Cuba. Current projections call for a Category 4 Landfall west of New Orleans, though impact will be felt from Texas to Florida and far inland. TS Nora is taking a dangerous path up the Gulf of California. Tropical storm conditions are possible as far north as Tucson, AZ.
