Gone are the days when neighbors knew neighbors, everyone watched out for everyone else's kids and people were just generally amicable and nice. Today, we live in a world where it seems that every time we step out of the house, we are taking a risk. A risk of being assaulted, road raged, robbed, shot...the list goes on. On the global scale, the risk is exponentially magnified. Decisions are being made by people who have no moral foundations, and when they make irrational or unreasonable decisions, the entire country, even the entire world is subject to "Extreme Risks." Only One can make all the wrong right, and we look forward to that day with great anticipation and hope. Being a lunatic is bad enough, but being a lunatic and someone who is "woke" is a sign of a very deep and dark spiritual depravity that only the Holy Spirit can change. Unfortunately, in our "everything offends me, I am my own reality, you must agree with my positions and adapt my reality" society, we are in for a spiritual battle for the ages. There is one truth, one life, one Savior. And only He can remove the scales from the eyes of the deceived. It may take a "Saul on the Road to Damascus" moment, but until that last moment, the trumpet that calls us all home, anyone can choose to believe.
