Ranger, a K9 on a 15-foot leash handled by officer Josh Meurer, attacked Bradley immediately upon finding him in the bushes. During the apprehension, Ranger severely injured Bradley’s right eye. The trauma to the eye was extensive and doctors were unable to repair it.

Around 5 a.m., Flagstaff police say an officer responded to a call that a man, later identified as 51-year-old Donald Wayne Henry of Missouri, had broken a gas station window and was stealing items from the store. At about the same time, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office got a report about a person threatening to stab people with a knife at a business in the same area. Police say an arriving officer confronted Henry in the middle of an intersection. Henry was armed with a screwdriver and refused to drop it. Body cam video shows two Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies surrounding Henry, pointing their guns and a taser. Henry starts walking toward a deputy. The deputy then fired his gun four times, hitting Henry. He died at the scene. No officers were injured.

Three firearms were recovered near him, according to authorities. Colindres was pronounced deceased at Palisades Medical Center at 7:13 p.m.

Police say Combs was attempting to steal a car from Modern Nissan in Concord before he was shot multiple times by former Concord officer Timothy Larson. Larson’s body cam video shows Combs inside a car and Larson asking multiple times to stop and not move. Larson says eight times to get out of the car. Bodycam video shows the officer first has his gun out but switches to a taser. Then he uses a baton to hit the truck’s window. The officer then takes cover and pulls out his gun again. Approximately one minute and 15 seconds after the encounter started, you can see Combs run out of the truck and jump into the officer’s patrol SUV. Larson then shot at Combs in the SUV five times. He pauses for a moment to call for backup then fires a final shot. The family has called into question the officer’s actions, especially with that final shot. They’re suing the officer and police department.

The suspect puts what appears to be a screwdriver into the ignition of the vehicle. The Officer then opens the door and orders the suspect out of the vehicle. From the Deputy's view on the passenger side of the vehicle, the suspect reaches for an object on his right side. The Deputy then announces the object is a gun. The suspect exits the vehicle and begins to run on foot KPD Officer fired a taser at the suspect but it had no effect on him and he continued to run toward an apartment complex on 425 North Columbia Center Blvd. As the suspect runs down the sidewalk, he removes a gun from his waist. Officers and Deputies give multiple commands to the suspect to drop the gun. The suspect refuses to comply with their commands and fires his weapon. The suspect then runs into an apartment complex. The suspect raises the firearm to his own head. Deputies and Officers give the suspect commands to drop the gun, but the suspect does not comply with their commands. The Deputy fired their weapon at the suspect who falls to the ground. Deputies and Officers arrest the suspect and provide the suspect with first aid, and call for paramedics. It was determined the suspect was not struck by gunfire. The suspect was transported to a local hospital and was later released. The suspect is booked into the Benton County Corrections Center.

The Canton father of six was shot and killed while firing his AR rifle into the air as part of a New Year’s celebration, according to reports. Body cam video shows what appear to be multiple gunshots originating from behind a wooden fence. Prosecutors presented all the evidence and gave grand jurors multiple slates of charges on which they could indict. With the grand jury deciding not to indict Huber, no further action will be taken by the Stark County Attorney.

Michael Turner and Jaiden Carter robbed an undercover detective at gunpoint at 14700 block of Fox Glove Ct. in Woodbridge. The two got into a car occupied by Shane Pollard then tried to flee just as more detectives were converging on the location to make the arrest. Police struck and killed Carter, and wounded Pollard in the exchange of gunfire, authorities said. Two handguns, one which was illegally modified to be fully automatic with an extended magazine, were located at the scene. These events led up to the exchange of gunfire with police. Turner and Pollard have both been charged with robbery resulting in death, in connection to the initial altercation that ultimately resulted in the death of Carter. Both men are in police custody, with Pollard hospitalized. During the investigation, Pollard was also determined to be wanted on active warrants from an unrelated carjacking that occurred in October 2021 involving a known party.

After the altercation, three subjects were arrested and lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail. Medical attention was provided for the subjects and officers. I-35, the driver discharged rounds from a rifle at Oklahoma City Officers. Two involved officers were able to return fire toward the suspect. No injuries occurred from the gunfire. The suspect continued eastbound on Interstate-40 from Interstate-35 ultimately exiting at Air Depot Blvd. The suspect stopped at the Tinker Air Force Base gate and surrendered. Benjamin Plank was taken to an area hospital to be checked for injuries and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a multitude of charges including first-degree murder. Both officers have been placed on routine paid administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation. According to police, the call came from “a neighbor who said one of two elderly victims knocked on her door for help.” Police said the victims told officers they were attacked by their nephew, Scholar Wang, 48. Body cam video shows officers tried to call Wang out of the home, but he did not comply. After entering the home, officers deployed a K9 and bean bag rounds after noticing a barricade blocking the hallway. “After 90 minutes and multiple deployments of pepper spray, an officer forced open the bathroom door after attempts to communicate with Mr. Wang failed.” Bodycam video footage shows Wang swung a black metal bar at the officer before the officer retreated. When police again deployed the K9, Wang used the bar to hit the dog. Police said officers then moved closer as Wang raised the metal bar above his head. That’s when one of the officers fired his duty weapon. Wang was taken to the hospital where he later died. The K9 suffered a cut to its head. No officers were injured.

Deputies arrived and found the suspect, identified as Jay Jackson, 49, had one hand in his shorts pocket and told them he had a gun. Body cam footage shows deputies ordering Jackson to surrender, but he refused to comply. Bodycam video shows Jackson removing what authorities described as “a shiny metal object” from the front pocket of his shorts and charging toward a deputy who fired a single shot, hitting Jackson in the chest. Jackson was then transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The shiny object turned out to be a Gillette razor.

Soltero was struck by gunfire and transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The loaded 9mm firearm Soltero was armed with was recovered at the scene. No officers were injured during this incident.

After running the driver’s information, police say Officer Becker had reason to believe the driver, identified as 35 year-old Randy Bishop, had provided a fake name and had warrants for his arrest. When Officer Becker approached the vehicle again, he asked Bishop to get out of the vehicle. In the video, Bishop begins to get out before pulling out a firearm and shooting the officer. After shooting Officer Becker, Bishop escaped again. According to CSPD, Officer Becker survived the shooting. It wasn't until late January 2020 when Bishop was finally taken into custody.
