‘Do the Biden!’ trend pops up on TikTok and Twitter
Stop, look for a chair that isn’t there, look all confused, and above all else, do it as slowly as humanly possible. Unlikely steps for a new TikTok dance, but the ‘Do the Biden!’ trend is picking up momentum. More momentum than its namesake has had in the last 50 years, at least.
Joe Biden embarrassed a nation, a memorial, and a good chunk of humanity after his D-Day celebration antics, acting like a man in desperate need of a chair and desperate need of the little presidents’ room, but the old crouch n’ slouch seemed to resonate with TikTok. Unfortunately for Biden, it’s 100% weapons grade ridicule, and it’s directed squarely at him, and those who insist on continuing this farce.

Witnesses describe horror Gaza raid that killed 274
Israeli forces recently launched an operation into Gaza that rescued four hostages, but at a price – according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 274 Palestinians, including 64 children and 57 women, were killed. The raid involved intense bombardment from the air, as well as invasion on the ground, and was witnessed by survivors like Khulood Shalaq. She lost 14 family members, with many still trapped under rubble. ‘The plane was bombing at random. They struck houses with rockets. People’s bodies were on the streets… the streets are filled with bodies.’
Kamal Benaji was a first-hand witness to the attack, and described how the situation escalated in mere moments. ‘First the cars entered, and then they were walking looking like civilians. One person said ‘these are not Arabs, they’re Jews (Israelis).’ Then they threw a grenade and then there were clashes. Then another bomb and then an F-16.’ Another man, Mahmoud Matar, described a brutal interrogation where his sons were shot, one fatally. ‘They told me if I don't confess, they will detain and shoot my kids. I said I have nothing to confess to, I don't know anyone from the resistance nor do I have any weapons. Within a minute in the other room, I hear the sound of gunfire.’

Plane slams into boat and sinks in Vancouver harbor
Boat and planes normally aren’t a threat to each other, yet Canada found a way. A seaplane attempting to take off from Vancouver’s Coal Harbor instead managed to collide with a speedboat, injuring two. The Harbor Air plane was attempting to take a group of five passengers on a scenic tour of Vancouver when the boat floated into its path. The plane briefly succeeded in getting airborne in the moments after the crash, but returned to the harbor moments later, this time without its floats. A few minutes later, the plane was completely underwater.
Amazingly, the boat appeared to be largely undamaged by the collision, and could be seen pulling over to the plane to offer assistance. Two passengers on the boat were taken to hospital, while the plane’s five passengers and pilot were unharmed. Authorities are investigating exactly what caused the crash to occur.

Plane nearly lands on top of another plane at Mumbai airport
Two planes at Mumbai’s airport ended up mere moments away from disaster in a mix up that saw one plane land on a runway while another was still taking off. An Air India flight to Thiruvananthapuram had apparently delayed in taking off from the runway at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, and was still on the runway when an IndiGo flight from Indore was beginning to land. Despite the delay, air traffic control apparently told both aircraft to proceed. The Indo flight entered the runway before the Air India plane had taken off, leading to the bizarre and dangerous sight of both planes occupying the same runway at once. The Air India flight successfully took off mere seconds before suffering an international fender bender.
Both airlines, the airport and India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation are investigating the incident, while the air traffic controller on duty at the time has been ‘derostered.’ Questions are being raised about how clearance was given to the IndiGo pilot to land, why the Air India flight was not ordered to vacate the runway, and why the IndiGo pilot continued to land despite there being an entire plane in the way.

California man randomly shoots at passing cars
A California man has been arrested after randomly shooting at cars, killing one man. CCTV footage from 7am on June 3 shows Julio Cesar Rodarte, 39, coming out of a liquor store empty handed, walking casually along the sidewalk, then, for no apparent reason, pulling out a gun and randomly unloading bullets into at passing cars in San Jacinto. Victor Hugo Leon, 42, was killed, and one other person was wounded. Witnesses report that after the rampage, Rodarte took his clothes off.
Rodarte has been charged with murder and ten counts of attempted murder and is currently being held at the Larry Smith Correctional Facility. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation, however they are not seeking any other suspects. Rodarte’s lawyer has refused to comment.

‘US and its allies do not give up trying to maintain their elusive domanance and slow down the objective processes of multipolarity formation,’ – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at BRICS meeting in Nizhny Novgorod.
‘At the same time, they use economic instruments as weapons through sanctions, pressure and financial blackmail, trying to influence choices of sovereign states,’ – he added.

Belgian PM in tears after EU election drubbing
Politicians across the European Union were stunned on Sunday after voters decided that the people weren’t particularly happy with any of them. This was the case in Belgium, where Prime Minister Alexander De Croo was forced to resign after his Flemish Liberals and Democrats party registered just 7% of the vote. De Croo broke down in tears at the count as he announced his resignation, although he is expected to remain in power for at least several years as that’s normally just how long the bureaucracy takes in Belgium.
Elsewhere in Europe, French President Emmanuel Macron was forced to call an election out of shame after a similarly dismal night at the polls. Not for president, though, for prime minister, with Macron increasingly unable to govern with the current parliamentary composition, and National Rally looking capable of providing a clear majority, albeit one diametrically opposed to him. German Chancellor Scholz too suffered an horrendous night, with his SPD finishing third for the first time in history.
The nationalists, conservatives, reformists and other so-called ‘far right’ parties had a spectacularly good night, however, and are set to become the second largest bloc in the European parliament, and a correspondingly increased force in their domestic political arenas. The EPP technically ‘won’ the night, remaining the largest bloc, but with their majority down to a knife edge it remains to be seen whether they can hold off the wave of populism rising up against the status quo.

Ukraine is a ‘gold mine’ we can’t afford to lose – US senator
Lindsey Graham has got some stones. Or, at least, wants them. Alabama Republican Tommy Tuberville went on Steve Bannon’s War Room to espouse a minority view in US politics: that none of this would have happened had NATO not expanded all the way to Russia’s borders, placed weapons on those borders, then began trying to do the same in Ukraine. Lindsey Graham, speaking to CBS’s Face the Nation, disagreed, saying that actually, this is all about the US wanting Ukraine’s rich mineral resources. To share, of course.
Graham was shown a clip of Tuberville’s remarks, and, upon seeing such a reasonable display of basic understanding, Graham flew into a fit of rage, launching into a tirade about what’s really going on in Ukraine. ‘They're sitting on 10-12 trillion dollars of critical minerals in Ukraine. They could be the richest country in all of Europe. We don't want to give that money and assets to Putin to share with China,’ said Graham.
But where does he want to give all of Ukraine’s wealth? Wall Street, that’s where. ‘If we help Ukraine now, they could become the best business partner we ever dreamed of. They're sitting on a gold mine.’ And as Rule of Acquisition 34 says, war is good for business.
