Bible Reading Challenge: How Did Month 1 Go?
Today I'm discussing how the first month went and sharing a little from what I read today. I still hope some of you join me on this challenge to read through the bible before the year is over. It's not too late at all! The greatest reward is more biblical knowledge and a stronger faith in the end. In my first video in this series I posted a link or two for some bible reading plans. Check it out if you want some ideas. There's plenty of reading plans out there if you just use a trusty search engine you will find plenty. Comment and share what you're reading and if you've joined me in this challenge. You won't regret it if you do. I'm sharing updates to help keep myself accountable and hope it will maybe help others who struggle with accountability in this area. If you found this video helpful, please give it a like and also share if you'd like to as well. #bible #biblestudy #readthroughthebible #theology #faith #christian #christianity

School's Out Tradition
Today I am sharing what I have been doing for the last day of school each year. I wanted to start doing this years ago but kept forgetting but now that it's our 3rd year in a row of doing this my kids sort of expect it now...especially once they started seeing boxes arrive at the house and no birthdays were immediately coming up. I'll post links to each of the items I purchased just in case any of you want to start a similar tradition or think any of these things would be great gifts for your kids. Quick Correction on Spelling
I just wanted to take a minute to offer a quick correction on something I said about why I don’t like Language Lessons for a Loving Education for spelling. Hopefully this helps clarify things. You definitely don’t have to use a separate spelling curriculum.

Homeschool Curriculum: Spelling and Handwriting
In today's video I share what we will be using for our reading and spelling. I've been using this same curriculum since my oldest started Kindergarten and I love it. I did use something else for a year but went right back to this after not liking the other one. I forgot to mention that there is a teacher’s manual for handwriting, but I didn’t find it necessary. I hope this video is helpful in helping you to choose your Handwriting and Spelling Curriculum. If you think a new or veteran homeschool mom may benefit from the information I share in this video, please share it. Feel free to follow me if you're new to my channel. Like and comment as well if you wish. I love being able to respond to other homeschool families. It's fun sharing tips with each other. #homeschooling #homeschoolmom #curriculum #homeschoolcurriculum #education #books #largefamily #spelling #handwriting
