Flatline: America’s Hospital Crisis
America is in a health care crisis that is hurting millions of Americans across the country. More than 200 hospitals nationwide, mostly in rural areas, closed in less than 20 years [1]. Over the next few years, more than 600 rural hospitals—nearly 30 percent of rural hospitals nationwide—are in financial distress and at risk of closing [2].
When hospitals close, people do not just lose the ability to access critical health care, the ripple effects reach far and wide, with many people losing jobs and local communities left in disarray. Life expectancy goes down while unemployment, crime, poverty, and death rates soar.
“Flatline: America’s Hospital Crisis” is an Epoch Original Documentary that reveals the devastating situation of the hospital closures across the country, examining the root causes and the major players of this health care epidemic and its impact on the local communities.
Directed by award-winning investigative journalist, TV broadcaster, and radio host Steve Gruber, the film focuses on the people and the personal stories of what it’s like for local communities to lose hospitals. Through the real-life stories of local residents, former hospital executives, former hospital workers, police officers, a retired judge, and interviews with health care experts and a hospital association executive, “Flatline” tells the story of “America’s Hospital Crisis” up-close and personal.
The voices of these residents in rural towns are loud and clear, America is facing a national emergency when it comes to health care that needs immediate attention even though it hasn’t received much media coverage to-date. The reality is that more hospitals will close and more lives will be lost if this crisis goes unresolved. This is critical information that every American needs to know and get prepared for, not just when you need to call 911. Longer travel times to hospitals may mean the difference of life or death.
But as this documentary explores, there are possible solutions and all hope is not lost.

America Invaded
Featuring heart wrenching personal accounts from military heroes and gold star families, this docudrama explores the current state of America’s national security after America’s longest war has ended. Shot around the world in USA, Mexico, Afghanistan, Panama and Kenya, this bi-partisan film objectively traces America’s current vulnerabilities, in the national security arena, that allow international terrorism to continue to threaten the United States, well after the twenty year global war on terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan is over.

Lori Day Vallow Trial Updates & Letecia Stauch trial updates
First report :: Educators forced 7-year-old boy to eat his own vomit: Police Five educators face charges after at least two of them forced a 7-year-old boy to eat his vomit, according to cops in Brownsburg, Indiana
The allegation stems from an incident in February when Sara Seymour, 27, a life skills teacher at Brown Elementary School, allegedly told the victim that if he vomited, he would have to eat it up, officials said. Life skills teacher Julie Taylor, 48, allegedly gave a tray for the child to vomit on.
He vomited, and life skills instructional aid Debra Kanipe, 63, gave him a spoon, officers wrote. The 7-year-old was allegedly forced to consume some of what he retched up.
“Both Seymour and Kanipe stood at each side of the child while he consumed a portion of the vomit,” officers said.
The child was also forced to clean the rest with paper towels.
Life skills instruction aid Kristen Mitchell, 38, and Megan King, 24, a registered behavioral technician working for the company K1ds Count Therapy, were also allegedly there and saw the incident happen, police said.
All five women are charged with failure to report, a misdemeanor. Seymour and Kanipe also face a count of neglect of a dependent.
According to city police, school district cops contacted them on the evening of April 12 regarding a report of Seymour and Kaniple mistreating the child during lunch in February 2023.
Cops noted that four other people were potentially involved. All six were put on administrative leave on April 13 before they had further contact with kids, according to officers.
The school district told K1ds County Therapy they could not be on school district property pending the investigation.
“Ultimately, the termination process for Seymour and Kanipe was initiated while the others remain on administrative leave pending the BCSC School Board rulings,” police said.
The K1ds County employee still cannot be on school district property.
“The BCSC, the third-party contractor, Kids County, and all involved individuals have been cooperative during the course of the investigation,” officers said.

CO v. Letecia Stauch: Daily Trial Updates
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Court TV) — Letecia Stauch, a woman accused of brutally murdering her young stepson and disposing of his body, is standing trial after several years of delays.
Letecia was married to Gannon’s father, Eugene “Al” Stauch, and in 2020 was stepmother to his two children: Gannon, 11, and Laina, 8. Stauch also had a 17-year-old daughter, Harley Hunt.
Gannon Reported Missing
Letecia called 911 at 6:55 p.m. on Jan. 27, and told investigators that Gannon was supposed to be home an hour prior, but she could not find him. When police came, they found that Letecia had not gone to any neighbors’ homes to look for the child, and was unable to name any friends or parents of Gannon’s friends.
In an affidavit obtained by Court TV, detectives listed several factors that led to her arrest.
ID v. Lori Vallow Daybell: Daily Trial Updates
BOISE, Idaho (Court TV) — Lori Vallow Daybell is facing life in prison if convicted of murdering her two children and conspiring to kill her fifth husband’s previous wife.
The so-called ‘Doomsday Cult Mom’ has pleaded not guilty to six charges in Idaho, including two counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
An indictment accuses Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell of espousing religious beliefs to justify the Sept. 2019 murders of 16-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old “JJ” Vallow and the Oct. 2019 murder of Tammy Daybell. Vallow Daybell is also accused of grand theft by deception for allegedly pocketing her children’s Social Security benefits after their deaths.
JJ and Tylee’s remains were found on Daybell’s property in June 2020, several months after JJ’s grandmother contacted police looking for him. By then, Vallow Daybell was sitting in an Idaho jail on charges stemming from the children’s disappearance. She was arrested in Hawaii in Feb. 2020, where she and Daybell had relocated amid a cloud of suspicion.
Vallow Daybell’s alibi notice says she was in her Rexburg apartment when the children died in the home of her now-deceased brother, Alex Cox, who the indictment describes as a co-conspirator. The notice also claims Vallow was in Hawaii when Tammy Daybell died in her home in October 2019 from what were determined to be natural causes.

Hush documentary
What happens when a pro-life executive producer and a pro-choice director collaborate on a journalistic film about abortion and women’s health? The answer is a unique and powerful documentary called HUSH. Putting aside their differences about the legality of abortion and agreeing to approach the subject with openness and sensitivity, the makers of the film set out to find the truth wherever the facts led them. Their conclusion: public health officials are covering up the truth about the link between abortion and breast cancer, putting millions of women at risk.

Letecia informed Gannon’s school, Grand Mountain Elementary, that her stepson would be absent on Jan. 27, 2020. In text messages, detectives said she told her husband that Gannon had been up most of Sunday evening with a stomach problem and that she would “give them an excuse at work and stay with him.” In an affidavit, police said Letecia sent her employer a text message that morning saying her stepfather had been hit by a car and killed, and she would be unable to come to work that day.
Investigators obtained video surveillance from neighbors, which they said showed a person believed to be Letecia and a second person, who appeared to match Gannon’s physical description, leaving the family’s home in her husband’s car at approximately 10:16 a.m. on Jan. 27. Video showed the vehicle returning at approximately 2:19 p.m., and while Letecia exited, detectives could not see anybody else get out of the vehicle.

Investigating Truth INWOOD DRIVE
Fair use is a doctrine in the United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as for commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship.
On Friday, September 13, 2019, the nation awoke to the horrifying discovery of over 2,000 medically-preserved fetal remains found in the garage of one of the nation’s most prolific abortionists, Ulrich “George” Klopfer. Weeks later, another 165 baby remains were discovered in the trunk of his dilapidated car. As a shocked nation cried out for answers to why a man like George Klopfer got away with hiding the bodies of over 2,000 of his victims for nearly twenty years, Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill stepped in to reclaim the babies and bring them home to Indiana for proper burial. Still, more questions than answers remained as investigators continued their probe into George Klopfer - one of America’s most prolific serial killers. “Inwood Drive” includes the only personal interview ever recorded with George Klopfer, who sat down with producers Mark and Amber Archer just months before his death, revealing his true motivations for many of his actions. Protected for decades by the abortion industry, including Planned Parenthood and the Center for Reproductive Rights. “Inwood Drive” shows the brutal truth about the abortion battle in America, over decades. This captivating film is narrated in large part by George Klopfer himself.

HOBBS, N.M. (Court TV/AP) — A woman accused of abandoning her newborn in a dumpster is standing trial in New Mexico.
Alexis Avila was 18 years old when she allegedly left her newborn with its umbilical cord still attached, wrapped in a towel and in a trash bag, in a mall dumpster on January 7, 2022.
A group of people looking to salvage valuable trash items found the child and called 911. Surveillance footage captured the entire incident.
Authorities say the baby, who survived, had been in the dumpster for six hours in 36-degree weather. The surveillance video led police to Avila, who was seen driving up and throwing a bag into the container.
The high school student told police she didn’t know she was pregnant until the day before, when she sought medical attention for abdominal pain. Avila claims she experienced stomach pain on Jan. 7 and unexpectedly gave birth.
Avila is charged with attempted first-degree murder and child abuse. She has pleaded not guilty. Her trial, which began on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, is expected to last three days.

NJ v. Zachary Latham: Nasty Neighbor Stabbing Trial
Daily updates follow here https://www.courttv.com/news/nj-v-lat...
Zachary Latham, 20, is charged with second-degree manslaughter, aggravated assault and weapons charges in the death of William “Timmy” Durham Sr., 51.
Latham was emancipated at 16 and enlisted in the New Jersey National Guard shortly after turning 18. The New Jersey National Guard confirmed that he “separated” from the agency in 2020, but further details were not made available. In 2020, Latham was living with his wife, Sarahi “Sarah” Latham, and his grandparents, and had gained approximately 40,000 followers on the social media platform TikTok. He would often post videos to the social media site featuring expensive cars he owned
The posts Latham uploaded to social media showed him revving the cars’ engines in front of his home and speeding through the quiet neighborhood.
In a recorded exchange that Latham posted to TikTok, Catherine “Tiffany” Durham, a neighbor, confronted him over his speeding on April 6, 2020. Police confirmed they were called to the neighborhood, but it was unclear whether Durham called the police or whether another neighbor had complained about Latham’s car.
The video of the confrontation with Durham was Latham’s most popular video on TikTok and had more than 3 million views in days. Latham continued to engage his followers in the comments of the post, prompting some followers to drive to the neighborhood to harass Latham’s neighbors, specifically Durham.
The videos and social media posts continued to escalate, with the entire Durham family becoming involved. After the initial video of Tiffany went viral, Latham began having problems with her husband, William “Timmy” Durham Sr. and their two sons, William “Billy”, 21, and Gage, 17. In one video, Latham blames “Billy” for a confrontation, saying in a comment posted on TikTok, “Karen’s son found out the video went viral and tried taking me out of the car.”
On May 4, 2020, Police said that Latham was driving through the neighborhood when he swerved his car toward Gage, who was on a bike, with the intention of running him down. Tiffany confronted Latham, and Tiffany alleged that she was given a black eye. Latham was not charged in the incident.
The entire Durham family, allegedly unarmed, then went to Latham’s house to confront him. Detectives said that Latham emerged from his house with knives and a stun gun, as Sarah recorded the confrontation with a cellphone.
Despite the Durhams being unarmed, Latham allegedly admitted to detectives that he armed himself with a four-inch knife and a stun gun from what he perceived to be a “mob attack.”

From the creators of "Inwood Drive" comes a powerful new investigative documentary film about the graphic Comprehensive Sex Ed and Social Emotional Learning being forced on children of all ages through the education system. For Christian parents, public schools are not a safe or neutral venue for their children’s education. The Mind Polluters exposes the dark realities of the intentional grooming of children into a worldview at odds with the Christian faith, a worldview of rampant sexuality, homosexuality, and transgenderism normalized through the use of pornographic and pedophilic materials. “The Mind Polluters” is a feature length investigative documentary film that follows the efforts of grass roots volunteers, legislators and Christian academics to expose and stop the efforts of corrupt organizations and groups to infiltrate the nation’s school systems with pornographic and pedo-sadist (pedophilia) materials. The film not only shows the brutal battle being waged right now to force both public and private school systems to indoctrinate children as young as pre-school age with materials so heinous that they are illegal everywhere else except in the classroom, it also explores the history of the pornography battle in the United States for the past 75 years. The battle lines have been drawn. Will the Church stand for Truth, or will we falter?

Should we be giving doctors the right to end the lives of others by euthanasia or assisted suicide?
Fatal Flaws: Legalizing Assisted Death is a thought-provoking journey through Europe and North America to find answers to this question. Some 20 years after these laws were introduced, even some of the most loyal supporters of assisted dying are questioning where these laws are taking us.
The grandfather of euthanasia in the Netherlands, Dr. Boudewijn Chabot, speaks of a “worrisome culture shift” and that euthanasia is “getting out of hand”—especially as it relates to patients with psychiatric issues.
The cost of ongoing treatment is putting pressure on an already fraught decision making process, and many are questioning the motives of those tasked with making the decisions. Meanwhile, the suicidal can simply “shop around” until they find the decision they are looking for—or more worryingly, others can do the same for those they are tasked with caring for.
