HMAS TORRENS was built at Cockatoo Dock and spent most of her life operating from GID in Sydney. Transferred to WA in 1990 and sunk in WA by Mk48 Torpedo.

HMAS TORRENS - Type 12 Leader Class built in Australia armed with 4.5" Twin Turret, Ikara, Mortars then Torpedos and Seacat. Served 1981-83 at CPOMTP3 and then 1987--88 as the Chief Tiff.
