This sunset setting was captured on the far east shore of Harlech beach during July. With the tide recently receeded, the low lying remaining water creates ideal lighting conditions along with perfect skies presenting photographic opportunity for beautiful reflections & colour. This is one of my most treasured captures with no filters applied, just hours of animation work to bring the scene to life . I hope you enjoy

Recent day's have brought an unexpected & unusual amount of constant electrical storms here in the midlands UK, and the affect on animals can be severe. My little girl Bo was so terribly frightened, she shook & made herself sick.. Its unusual to see her so terribly terrified & our roles were reversed!, this time it's me comforting her to sleep and not the other way round. You can see the fear in her eyes at the start, but a comforting hug, holding her close & letting her know your " there " & she quietly feels safe to fall asleep

Staying on the Autumnal theme ,the natural colours & shape in this parkland woodland always reminded me of the trees almost on ' Fire ' .. it was time to work on that idea ...

This short film shows captures from the beautiful valley of Borrowdale where Derwentwater lies at the head of Keswick in the Northern Lake District, Cumbria UK 🇬🇧: 2020 I am always in awe of the incredible colours & contrasts of the autunal season and this area always triumphs in this arena. The almost burnt orange naturally coloured ground foliage set against the crystal rich blue colours of the lake with good weather complimenting the scene. I always look for this combination on tree / sky / colours with a touch of delicate animation work ( which takes a lot of time done properly) to showcase this stunning setting.

This colourful bunch was real & beautiful .. it's been the focus on the centre of our table all week. They brought a smile. So, this little video , combined with a little 60's psychedelia! presentation is to bring colour and peaceful hope to the start of your week.

Macro photography of beautiful wild mushrooms 🍄 captured in the woodlands of Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Magical and mistrusted ? Toadstools and mushrooms are associated with ancient taboos, dung, death and decomposition. But trees rely on fungi and we're just starting to understand how close this relationship is: great networks that link and support trees and woodland life. They come in dazzling shapes, colours and sizes; even working with other species to produce different organisms.
