2Thess lesson #13. A study in John 18 shows the display of corruption not only with the Sanhedrin but with the Roman authority of Pilate.

2Thess lesson #14. Herod Antipas was a weak and corrupt man who was a puppet leader, who abused his authority and enjoyed welding power over others. Jesus would not even respond to Herod's verbal assault and instead separated HIMSELF, mentally from that 5th trial. We all may have to deal with this test in our spiritual battle.

2Thess lesson #12. In Luke chapter 22 we get a view to the attempted legal trial and yet it was set in motion by lies and corruption. There are times corrupt authority set a legal standard into motion and yet under the surface the corruption and deceit are obviously setting someone up for failure. System testing and authority testing are a challenge we all will face.

2Thess lesson #11. In Matthew chapter 26 we see the second interrogation of Jesus Christ which was all done under the dark of night, in an illegal fashion. All Christians should be prepared for unjust treatment and adversity even from those in high positions of authority.

2Thess lesson #10. Christians must learn to face adversity and challenges because they are often the testing grounds for spiritual growth. What the humanity of Jesus Christ faced may manifest itself in some fashion within your life. Spiritual warfare comes in many shapes and sizes, be prepared!

2Thess lesson #9. As Believers we will face similar testing and trials. We will face adversity and attacks. We are the enemies of the Kingdom of Darkness so be prepared and grow in God's word.

2Thess lesson #8. We are called to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. This may mean times of testing and adversity as well as injustice or persecutions. The Tribulation period is being built all around us, we have to expect some pain and discomfort along with betrayal or injustice from time to time. Stand strong as God will bless and secure you to reach the other side.

2Thess lesson #7. Both faith and perseverance build off of one another, yet the faith has to be a foundation of fact, not wishful thinking. True faith is to cling upon and rely upon a target - the target had better be stable and factually sound and that target is Jesus Christ!

2Thess lesson #6. Edifying each other with a grateful heart is a sign of maturity. The tongue can be a fire of destruction or a healing touch to lift someone up. We all need to watch our attitude and tongue concerning evaluating other people, especially the Royal Family of GOD.

2Thess lesson #5. We as Believers should have a great feeling of relief and joy knowing God has done the work, so that we reap the benefits. Our calling is to walk in union with Christ, to acknowledge and adjust to God's plan is simply a matter of the positivity of the mind.

2Thess lesson #4. God the Holy Spirit working with our New Nature is a grace apparatus to receive and grow in HIS knowledge. The Believer simply needs to be available and positive toward Bible Doctrine and be under a prepared pastor-teacher.

2Thess lesson #3. Greater grace is seen in James chapter 4 among other scriptures. Greater grace is the Super-grace lifestyle afforded to those who diligently seek GOD. The closer you get to GOD the greater HIS grace can unfold in your life.

2Thess lesson #2. The grace plan of GOD is never dependent upon human viewpoint and human strength, it is interrupted due to human power. Mankind has a history of accepting God's grace and then rejecting God's grace. Rebellion is a rollercoaster mankind has ridden since the original Garden.

2Thess lesson #1. A study of the magician Simon of ACTS 8, gives us a view to counterfeit Christianity we see all around us today! Satan is a master of trickery and false teaching that often appears as truth - he is the father of lies.

1Thess lesson #139. Spirit, soul and body must have a harmony for the Believer to reach forward into maturity. We are given a second breath of life in the spiritual sense at the moment of salvation - a new creation is imputed into our soul. This means we are born again but now with a new spirit.

1Thess lesson #140. There is powerful and lasting unity in the Royal Family of God. Even Jesus was ridiculed and rejected in HIS own circle of family and friends. Those closest to you may never accept your life with Christ, yet you have a new family inside the plan of GOD.

1Thess lesson #138. There is a specific make up of Body, Soul and Spirit that most people do not understand. Your soul was imputed to you by GOD at birth. The true you, reside in the soul. Which is a combination of mind, emotion and DNA as well as the essence of who you were created to be.

1Thess lesson #137. Most Christians never gain enough momentum to have spirit, soul and body in harmony moving forward in God's plan. Take a deeper look at body - soul and spirit within scripture. You may be surprised!

1Thess lesson #135. Most Christians do not understand spiritual gifts. The foundational period of the early church was a time of temporary spiritual gifts. Some religions build a false set of doctrines in relation to spiritual gifts.

1Thess lesson #134. Most Believers do not understand the theology of grieving and then quenching the Spirit. There is an element of immoral and moral degeneracy that occurs as a Christian begins to step away from the plan of God. This has a direct effect upon our relationship with God the Holy Spirit.

1Thess lesson #136. Prophecy and prophets were used for the completed canon of scripture during the early church. A serious study in 1Corinthians chapter 12,13 and 14 explains temporary spiritual gifts of the early church. Unfortunately, today we have emotional Believers such as in Corinth, who rely upon temporary gifts, all which have been done away for their spiritual growth. Religion is Satan's trump card, never forget that!

1Thess lesson #133. One of the 5 sins against God the Holy Spirit is lying to the power and authority of God the Holy Spirit. Ananias and Sapphira in Acts chapter 5 gives us a hard lesson on this exact doctrine.

1Thess lesson #131. There are 5 sins covered in New Testament theology related to sins against the Holy Spirit that all Believers should understand. Do you know the difference between grieving and quenching the Spirit?

1Thess lesson #132. Obstinance toward the ministries of God the Holy Spirit brings misery for the Believer. It brings destruction in the end for the Unbeliever who leads a life of stubbornness toward the things of GOD. Satan wants us to accept the lust patterns and stubbornness within our Old Sin Nature, this will be his victory and your loss in the end.

1Thess lesson #130. Having an attitude of gratitude does not come natural for our flesh. This is another learned skill set that takes time and building blocks within the soul to gather momentum and become solidified. We can be thankful even in adversity if our focus is on our relationship with God. We are called to be combatants in the angelic warfare which is raging all around us since the creation of mankind.
