Here's a quick video showing what I did to get the front of the frame to come up closer to the slide. Most people refer to this manufacturing flaw as "the droop". It's only aesthetic, so it won't affect function.

Here's a video on how I dyed my GST-9 MOD 1 frame red, from white. Results may vary based on what color frame you start with. If your frame is black, you can't dye it a lighter color.
