The DEI Debate: A Closer Look at University of Florida's Bold Move
The University of Florida announced it is eliminating all staff positions related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and closing the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer. This move is to comply with the Florida Board of Governor’s regulation 9.016 on prohibited expenditures. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) hires focus on concerns over meritocracy, suggesting DEI initiatives may lead to hiring based on demographic characteristics rather than qualifications. DEI efforts can also inadvertently foster division by emphasizing differences rather than unity. We must come together and unify, especially right now.

Join the Fight? The New Ukrainian Law Explained
Americans can now join the Ukrainian National Guard following a law passed by Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada. This law, officially integrating foreign fighters into the National Guard and its subordinate units, grants citizenship through simple procedures to all volunteers, providing them full legal status as official members of Ukraine’s military. The scariest thought, is this a step in normalizing Americans fighting on foreign soil. The good part of this though, everyone pushing hard for extending the war in Ukraine can go and practice what they preach.

The Unseen Invasion: America's Northern Border
Americas southern boarder has been the focus of most of the illegal migrant information, but there has been a 700 percent increase in illegal migrants entering America from Canada at the northern boarder. Now these numbers are still not as extreme as the southern boarder, but it is still part of the equation when it comes to the invasion. Illegal immigrants are flying from places like Mexico to Canada and crossing because there is less risk of being caught. Keep your eyes open and focused on the big picture.

Rethinking America's Fiscal Priorities
For the fiscal year of 2024, the U.S. budget allocates 739 billion dollars for interest costs. This is almost the same as Americas 922 billion dollar defense budget.
