An introduction to the Koh Phangan Holistic Community This short documentary styled video covers some of the most inspiring teachers Luca Sonzogni has interviewed. This is also the 100th Episode. Somewhat following a hero’s journey story line, many of us went through a period of distress, healing and rebirth before becoming teachers and holding space for students and other wellness seekers. We then visited or moved to Koh Phangan in search for connection with beautiful nature, space to practice spiritually while searching for a community of like-hearted and like-minded people, immersed in the laid back Buddhist culture of Thailand. Crystal island Koh Phangan is a unique place where holistic healing, yoga, Eastern philosophy and alternative therapies are matched with often alternative views of the world. A more fulfilling, spiritually rich and slower paced alternative lifestyle naturally comes with this. Luca started his interviews in the midst of the pandemic with a pretty basic android phone and went on filming an interview a week during 2021, moving the set to his house in Chaloklum. From there he continues to meet inspiring individuals and ask them 3 basic questions, which form the back bone of all conversations: 1- What is your journey or story in life? 2- What is your therapy, modality, form of art or passion? 3- Why did you choose Koh Phangan? From there the conversation flows with probing questions and insight covering many aspects of each person's knowledge and experience. Topics of conversation to date have included spirituality, many types of yoga, meditation and Eastern practices, breathwork, energy healing, bodywork and physical therapy, music, dance and art.
