Paces were created over 3 decades ago and have a Biblical foundation for life and learning for all denominations that respect the Bible as the Word of God. I look inside 3 different subjects in the Paces and show you how to use the Paces. I also go over using the scope and sequence book for planning and diagnostic placement testing to start your child off at the right level. You can literally start in a few days with this high quality curricula that requires very little planning and organization on your part. The organizational structure is built in the workbooks as you follow along. I love these workbooks! I homeschooled my 3 children for all 12 grade levels using a combination the Paces and other curricula! This is a great starter curricula and very useful for seasoned homeschoolers that want to change-up a subject or two and do something different. It’s actually excellent for families that travel a lot also because you need only bring the workbooks and answer keys. The company is well established and has a lot of extra supplies, multi-media options and elective material as well. By far, the best starter curricula that is high quality, easy to use and very affordable.

I was sitting on a bench to watch one of my sheep get ready to give birth, and I thought I'd do a quick video about my pouch. After all, I was sitting down, cleaning it out while waiting to see if Lucy (my sheep) was going to give birth. Every time I leave my house to walk around my property and work I put on my pouch...no exceptions. As the Title says, it has all the Little Tools I Need including my gun.

I share what happened to make me stop playing music - guitar and singing and writing, mainly contemporary Christian songs. Though I could have probably made a living at it, I was not happy with the personal attention and the feelings of "fame". These experiences were not what I wanted out of my music! Great Grampa Whipple's Secret Recipe of Great Northern Bean Soup is an easy one-pot recipe done in a crock pot. It's so tasty and healthy. Two other tips I did not include, sometimes I add a dab of butter for flavor, and use a fork to mash up the beans at the end to make the soup thicker and add salt and pepper to taste. Family recipes are such a treasure. I also highlight our heirloom purple Cherokee tomato seeds available on our Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/familytreehomeschool Written ingredients are: 1 pound great northern beans 1-3 cups of meat (ham hocks, bacon strips - your choice) 3 chicken bouillon cubes 1 onion and 4 cloves of garlic lightly saute ed, but not browned * Simmer in a small crock pot 3/4 full of water for 3-4 hours. * In last 1/2 hour or so, add a chopped tomato and 1 - 2 tsp. instant coffee. Optional tips that I do: Add a dab of butter for flavor, and use a fork to mash up the beans at the end to make the soup thicker and add salt and pepper to taste.
