BEST CARDIO TO GET SHREDDED-H.I.I.T. OR STEADY STATE? DOES IT MATTER?
BEST CARDIO TO GET SHREDDED-H.I.I.T. OR STEADY STATE? DOES IT MATTER?
Welcome back to Muscle Central on YouTube. Today I will be discussing cardio for fat loss. Which is better, h.i.i.t. or steady state?
Getting shredded to step on stage. Yes cardio is important. It can help you get body fat levels down to low numbers. At the end of the day it's a tool, not the foundation.
You can get shredded without cardio. Diet is the foundation. The more precise the diet is, the less imperative the cardio becomes. That doesn't mean you shouldn't do cardio. Cardio can make it easier and there are other benefits.
The big question is, which is better, Intensity Intervals or steady state? Neither. Despite what some might say, you can get in stage condition doing Intensity Intervals. It's a matter of preference.

CHAMPION MINDSET: TRAIN TO WIN
CHAMPION MINDSET: TRAIN TO WIN
Hello everyone and welcome back to Muscle Central. Today we'll take a look at the mindset of a champion.
Too often we hear a competitor say they be happy for a placing other than a win. Training for anything less than a win is accepting defeat.
Once you accept defeat you set yourself up to lose. The mind is a very powerful tool and can make the difference between a champion and the others.
The mindset during training, contest prep and stepping on stage should be I'm in this to win this. Anything less should be unacceptable.

2024 MR OLYMPIA-WHAT WILL CHANGE? WHO WILL REMAIN?
2024 MR OLYMPIA-WHAT WILL CHANGE? WHO WILL REMAIN?
Welcome back to Muscle Central. Today I'll be discussing the upcoming Olympia and the 3 bodybuilding Divisions, Classic Physique, 212 and Open.
We will have in 2 divisions a former champion trying to regain the Olympia title and 1 trying to claim his 6th title. Both Hadi Choopan and Shaun Clarida are trying to get the title back and Chris Bumstead trying to add another one.
Will Derek Lunsford be able to hold off a determined Hadi Choopan and Nick Walker? Can Shaun Clarida knock off the current champion, Keone Pearson? Will Chris be challenged by a much improved Wesley Vissers?
I will be discussing the possibilities and be giving my thoughts how this will unfold.

IS QUINTON ERIYA 2ND PLACE THREAT AT NY PRO?
IS QUINTON ERIYA 2ND PLACE THREAT AT NY PRO?
Hello everyone and welcome back to Muscle Central. We're gonna take another look at Quinton Eriya "Quint Beastwood" heading into the 2024 NY Pro.
Most feel that Nick Walker has this win but where will Quinton Eriya end up? This is a strong lineup and should be a competitive competition.
Quinton brings a lot of gifts to the table. He's tall, wide, great shape and structure. His weaknesses were always not enough muscle for his frame and conditioning.
Looking at recent pics, it's apparent that he added a significant amount of muscle. Will he be able to hold on to it while dieting down and can he bring the conditioning?
Now if Quinton can put it all together, with all that he brings he can and will be a serious threat for the rest of the lineup.
In conclusion, if Quinton can put it together, conditioning and all, he is very capable of securing a 2nd place finish.

DEREK LUNSFORD BIGGER THAN EVER
DEREK LUNSFORD BIGGER THAN EVER
Welcome back to Muscle Central. This video will cover the latest update from Derek Lunsford. In this latest update, Derek looks massive.
We have to remember this is not the first time we've seen Derek full blown in the off season. Both as a 212 and open competitor we've seen this before. When dieted down, it doesn't translate to the stage.
Are people getting too excited too quick about Derek's new found size? We'll see when he steps on the Olympia stage in October.
This is not case just for Derek. More often than not, what we see in updates does not translate to the stage. Either way, I'm sure Derek is training hard with the intention if retaining the Olympia title.

MILOS SARCEV VS PATRICK TUOR PT. 2: NO RESOLUTION
MILOS SARCEV VS PATRICK TUOR PT. 2: NO RESOLUTION
Welcome to Muscle Central. Today I'll be discussing the ongoing dispute with Milos Sarcev and Patrick Tuor.
The dispute between Milos Sarcev and Patrick Tuor continues on another Menace Podcast. Initially when Milos mentioned coaching Patrick for a show in the early 2000's, Patrick denied it and Never pressed the subject.
On the next Menace Podcast, Milos gave details of the prep and even offered to bring on the mutual friend that introduced Patrick to Milos. Milos insists that yes indeed he prepped Patrick.
After the 2nd Podcast aired, Patrick contacted Dennis James and wanted to clear things up. Patrick said he indeed met Milos and Milos imparted his knowledge on him but insists he did not coach him and did not follow anything Milos told him. Milos was very angry and does not like being called a liar.
Why Patrick does not admit he worked with Milos is unclear but this is ending anytime soon.

SERGIO AND DORIAN PART WAYS
SERGIO AND DORIAN PART WAYS
Hello everyone. Today I'm gonna discuss what's been going on with the trainer/client situation with Dorian Yates and Sergio Oliva Jr. I hope you enjoy.
On a recent Menace Podcast, Chris Cormier revealed that Sergio is no longer working with Dorian. Chris did not give any details but being he is in Spain at the moment and his friendship with Dorian, the information is correct.
Neither Dorian or Sergio has made a statement but knowing how Sergio is, Dorian's mindset and approach to training, this partnership wouldn't last too long.
The truth is, Sergio has not accomplished anything significant, has always had an excuse and never displayed the right mindset and attitude.
Watch and find out my thoughts on this. Thank you for watching and don't forget to like, share and subscribe to make sure you don't miss any content.

SAM SULEK COMES CLEAN: HE'S NOT CLEAN (NATURAL) AFTER ALL
Sam Sulek social media influencer and Hosstile sponsored "athlete" has answered the question we all have been waiting to hear answered. Natural or not? That's a personal choice but many young followers of his think he is and that he gets his physique from just training and eating like him.
He has revealed in a recent video he does use and that should dispell any belief he is natural. Those familiar with these things knew otherwise.
Will this effect his fan base? Will young kids turn to steroids to be like Sam or will people turn away from him feeling that they were mislead? He never mislead anyone, he just never discussed it.

CAN QUINTON PUSH NICK AT THE 2024 NY PRO?
CAN QUINTON PUSH NICK AT THE 2024 NY PRO?
Welcome to Muscle Central on YouTube. Today we'll discuss Nick Walker and his competition at the NY Pro.
Nick Walker is the clear favorite to win the NY Pro. That doesn't mean there won't be a competitive lineup. We have Stu Sutherland, Tonio Burton, Martin Fitzwater, Justin Rodriguez and Quinton "Beastwood" Eriya.
With Nick being the clear favorite, is there any that could possibly push him? Beastwood, with his shape and proportions along with the muscle he's put on, if he can come in conditioned, he can very possibly push Nick.
I am not saying Quinton will beat Nick, it's possible that he can make it so it's not simply a cake walk for Nick. We'll find out in a few weeks.

WAS PATRICK TUOR PREPPED BY MILOS SARCEV?-IS PATRICK PREPPING RAMY?
WAS PATRICK TUOR PREPPED BY MILOS SARCEV?-IS PATRICK PREPPING RAMY?
Hello everyone, today I'll be covering what transpired on a recent Menace Podcast.
Patrick Tuor, on a previous Menace Podcast, was very elusive when asked if he is working with Ramy prepping him for his Olympia return. He never really answered the question and seemed really uncomfortable when Dennis pressed him more.
Later in the Podcast Milos Sarcev brought up how he prepped Patrick for a show when Patrick was still competing. Patrick denied it and said Milos must have him confused with someone else.
Milos has a photographic memory and it's hard to believe that he is mistaken about Patrick. Whh is Patrick so elusive about whether he's working with Ramy and why would he lie about Milos prepping him.

BIG RAMY COMEBACK: CAN IT BE SUCCESSFUL? WIN THE OLYMPIA?
BIG RAMY COMEBACK: CAN IT BE SUCCESSFUL? WIN THE OLYMPIA?
Hello, fitness enthusiasts and bodybuilding aficionados! Today, we're going to dive into the intriguing topic of Big Ramy's return to the stage at the Pittsburgh Pro and the speculation surrounding his potential for a third Olympia title.
Big Ramy, known for his towering physique and impressive stage presence, has been off the competition scene since the 2023 Arnold Classic Ohio. However, he's set to reappear on stage as a guest poser at this year's Pittsburgh Pro. This news has fans buzzing about the possibility of him winning yet another Olympia title.
Firstly, it's important to remember that Big Ramy is now 40 years old. While age might not be a major factor in his performance, it does raise questions about his longevity in the sport. Secondly, mass monsters like Ramy don't usually compete for as long as smaller athletes due to potential joint issues and wear and tear on their bodies.
It's also been 1½ years since Ramy last competed at the Arnold Classic Ohio. This lengthy hiatus could impact his fitness level and stage readiness. His best performance might have been in 2017 - four years ago. And lastly, there are concerns about atrophy in his triceps and back muscles, as well as divets in his quads that could detract from his overall physique on stage.
Given these factors, it seems unlikely that Big Ramy will be able to capture another Olympia title this year or even make it into the top 5 contestants. However, we can still look forward to seeing him on stage as a guest poser and appreciate his continued contribution to the world of bodybuilding.

DORIAN AND SERGIO JR - WILL IT WORK?
DORIAN AND SERGIO JR - WILL IT WORK?
Hello, fitness enthusiasts! Today, we take a glimpse into the world of professional bodybuilding, specifically focusing on the career of Sergio Oliva Jr., son of the legendary former Mr. Olympia, Sergio Oliva.
Now, it's not an easy task to live up to the legacy of such a great athlete, and while Sergio Jr. has made his mark in the industry as a pro, it seems he hasn't quite reached the same level as his dad. He's competed in some shows but not as many as you might expect from a former Mr. Olympia's son.
Recently, things have changed for Sergio Jr. He's teamed up with Neil Hill and Dorian Yates who are helping him with nutrition and training. This has led him to relocate to Spain to be close to Dorian Yates. The hope is that under Dorian's guidance, Sergio can find that extra drive and push himself to reach his full potential.
However, there's a question lingering - will we ever see Sergio Jr. at his best? He's past 40 now, which can pose challenges for an athlete in any sport. The odds seem stacked against him in terms of reaching the level of his father or other top bodybuilders in their prime years.
So folks, let's keep our fingers crossed for Sergio Jr., and hope that under these new mentors he can push himself to achieve greatness!

RAFAEL VS TONIO - BODYBUILDING RIVALRY - FAVORITISM IN SOUTH AMERICA
Hello, fitness enthusiasts and bodybuilding aficionados! Welcome to our weekly update on the exciting world of competitive bodybuilding. Today, we're diving into the buzz surrounding the recent Arnold South America competition.
Now, for those unfamiliar, Arnold South America is an international bodybuilding show that's been rocking the scene since its inceptioRAFAELn in 2015. Last week, we witnessed a thrilling finale that saw Rafael Brandao take center stage for a record-breaking sixth time!
But what's really stirring up discussions is the reaction of Tonio Burton, who finished in second place. You see, Tonio feels he had the edge in conditioning and detail, but Rafael's larger muscle size ultimately won him the crown.
And that's not all! Tensions seem to be running high between these two giants of bodybuilding. In fact, Rafael responded to Tonio's claims on social media with some interesting anecdotes. According to Rafael, when Tonio trained at his gym, he showed up wearing only underwear and even clogged his toilet!
Now, let's delve into the judging process itself. It was quite unusual this year - instead of comparing top three placers at once, they were compared 2 at a time alternatingly. This approach allowed Rafael to clinch a rest before anyone else had a chance to compete with him directly. Some fans are questioning whether there was indeed hometown favoritism at play here?
So there you have it - a recap of the latest drama from Arnold South America 2024! Stay tuned for more updates on this fascinating world of competitive bodybuilding and let us know your thoughts on these developments in the comments below! FOUAD IS PISSED-I DON'T BLAME HIM-ONLY 6 COMPETITORS IN DETROIT PRO
FOUAD IS PISSED-I DON'T BLAME HIM-ONLY 6 COMPETITORS IN DETROIT PRO
Hello, fitness enthusiasts! We've got some exciting news to share with you today. The legendary Fouad Abiad, along with Ben Chow and Paul Lauzon, are bringing the first-ever Detroit Pro this year. This event is not just about competing, but also about celebrating the power of fitness and physique.
At the Detroit Pro, there's a whopping $25k prize for the winner, $10k for the runner-up, and $5k for the third-place finisher. In addition to these top prizes, there will also be awards for most muscular, most shredded, and best posing.
But here's the twist - there are only 6 competitors registered for this event! It's quite surprising to see such a low turnout given the incredible opportunity on offer. This year's contest is also an Olympia qualifier, which means that the winner will get direct entry into Mr. Olympia.
So here's our question - why aren't more competitors turning up? On his podcast, Fouad voiced his displeasure and even questioned if it would be worthwhile to organize next year's event due to low participation. This is a chance for some of our favorite bodybuilders to showcase their hard work and potentially get a ticket to Mr. Olympia.
We hope that more competitors register for this unique opportunity in bodybuilding history. Let's support these athletes and help them make their mark in the world of fitness.

MICHAEL DABOUL ASSAULTED IN UK AT 2 BROS PROMOTION
MICHAEL DABOUL ASSAULTED IN UK AT 2 BROS PROMOTION
Classic Physique competitor Michael Daboul was assaulted at an UK bodybuilding show. His female companion was competing and after the show Michael was allowed backstage to help her. Four security guards assaulted him and left him with a broken nose and 2 broken ribs.
Michael said there were words between them and flipped them a bird. There is no excuse for the attack. Curiously, earlier he made social media posts criticizing the way the show was being run. 2 Bros Promotion are the promoters and it's speculated that they paid security to assault Michael in retaliation for the negative social media posts.
Two security guards were arrested and the other 2 are being sought. Police are looking at security footage to see what actually transpired.
Anyone and everyone that's involved in this incident should be held accountable by law and most likely there will be a major lawsuit against all parties involved.
In the end we hope Michael recovers fully and steps are taken so this type of thing doesn't happen again.

IS PATRICK TUOR BIG RAMY'S NEW COACH? PATRICK IS KEEPING QUIET
IS PATRICK TUOR BIG RAMY'S NEW COACH? PATRICK IS KEEPING QUIET
Hello, fitness enthusiasts! Welcome back to our channel. Today, we're delving into the exciting world of professional bodybuilding and speculating on the latest news surrounding the Menace Podcast's recent episode.
The buzz is all about Patrick Tuor, a renowned coach, and his potential new role as Big Ramy's prep coach. But here's the intriguing part: when Dennis James posed the question, Tuor seemed a bit evasive in his response.
Tuor, known for his expertise in conditioning clients, didn't give a straightforward answer. Instead, he sidestepped the question and seemed somewhat uncomfortable. Dennis persisted, but to no avail. The podcast then moved on to other topics.
Now, fans of bodybuilding are wondering if this could impact Big Ramy's performance in future competitions. It's clear that if Ramy's issues with his triceps, quads, and back aren't addressed before competition day, his impressive conditioning may not be enough to secure a win. So, it seems that Patrick Tuor might need to work his magic on these areas if Big Ramy is to perform at his best.

PRO GUEST POSING|WILL HE DO THE OLYMPIA?
Greetings, fellow fitness enthusiasts! Today, we're diving into the world of bodybuilding and dissecting the recent news about Big Ramy's return to the stage at the 2024 Pittsburgh Pro.
Now, let's be clear from the start: Big Ramy is not a stranger to the world of bodybuilding, having graced stages around the globe for several years.
His last appearance was at the 2023 Arnold Ohio, and while his conditioning was certainly better than in previous competitions, there didn't seem to be much improvement in his physical issues. MILOS AND JAMES ARE STILL FRIENDS - MILOS AND JAMES ON IFBB AMA PODCAST
Hi there, fitness enthusiasts! Today, we're diving into the world of bodybuilding and addressing some speculation about a well-known figure in the industry, Milos Sarcev.
So, let's get straight to it. Some folks have been pointing fingers at Milos, alleging that he parted ways with Samson Dauda and James Hollingshead on less-than-ideal terms. However, let's not jump to conclusions. In a recent podcast featuring both James and Milos, James set the record straight. He shared that the parting of ways was amicable and that Milos indeed played a vital role in his journey by offering advice and guidance. Milos was hired as an advisor by James, instead of an actual prep coach.
Now, here's something to keep in mind: Milos Sarcev is not your typical prep coach for bodybuilding competitions. He's an advisor who lends his wealth of knowledge and experience to help athletes reach their full potential.
And guess what? The bond between James and Milos is still rock-solid! It seems like everyone in the industry has nothing but admiration for Milos Sarcev, considering him one of the most respected figures in the industry.
Remember folks, speculation can often lead us down the wrong path! So let's stick to facts and celebrate this positive relationship between two fitness powerhouses.

Hello, fitness enthusiasts and podcast aficionados! Welcome back to our channel where we delve into the exciting world of competitive bodybuilding. Today, we're going to shed some light on a fascinating little twist in the upcoming Arnold Classic South America.
Now, remember the podcast we discussed last time? The one where Jon Delarosa mentioned he wouldn't be competing at the Arnold Classic South America a week and a half before the event? Well, here's an interesting turn of events: Jon's name appears on the official competitors list! This has many of us asking - did Jon change his mind, or was he simply forgotten on the list?

OLYMPIA WILL RAISE PRIZE MONEY
Hey there, fitness enthusiasts! Today, we're diving into the world of bodybuilding and its prizes. Specifically, we're discussing how the Arnold Classic's prize money increase has forced the Olympia to make some changes.
Remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that the 1st place prize in the Open Division of the Arnold Classic would be raised to a whopping 500K? Well, this news has set off a chain reaction in the bodybuilding world. Naturally, this has caused quite a stir in the competitive circuit. It's only natural that other major events would want to keep up with the trend and maintain their status as one of the most prestigious competitions in bodybuilding.
Now, we're waiting with bated breath for an official announcement from the Olympia organizers. But given that they can't let themselves be outdone, it's almost certain that they will also need to raise their prize money to stay competitive. We don't have any details yet on how much the Olympia will increase its prize money, but let me tell you - it's highly unlikely that they would just match Arnold Classic's figure.
So, what do you think? How much do you think the Olympia might increase its prize money? Stick around for our next video where we discuss this topic further and share your predictions!
