Road tripping Michigan in July
We start every journey with an idea and then add on. We wanted to head North to Grandville to do some shopping and needed to nourish ourselves along the way with incredible food. Which brought us thru Kalamazoo and onto Byron Center with shopping ahead it was a great decision. Then low and behold we started chasing storms and clouds what a great day to spend in Southern Michigan. Enjoy the video.

Brunch the Go 2 Lunch
Eating in = saves $$ = buy better raw ingredients local. Supporting local economy means buying directly from the farmer. I currently have the ability to buy from 3 local meat farmers. In the area I call home there are approximately 30-50 meat farmers within a 50 mile radius. They are very diversified in the meat they produce and where you can pick up that said meat. Living is made easier when your support dollars goes to a farmer that works diligently creating some of the finest meat.

February Food Finds
An epic concept to see if it is true you are what you eat. Enjoy the journey along with me to see how it goes for the 1st month of photo journaling my foods. A couple of them I ate out and the rest I made or created.

BBQ, Truffles & Donuts
A lovely daytrip thru Sourthern Michigan partaking of the foods that keep locals employed and small business owners happy.
Stopped in at a meat market that serves delicious BBQ, than did a quick stop at a local donut shop while on our way to a magnificent Chocolate company that creates masterpieces with Organic Chocolate.
