David Morrison's Music: They All Went To Mexico
"THEY ALL WENT TO MEXICO" - PERFORMED BY WILLIE NELSON AND DAVID MORRISON
"They All Went to Mexico," written by Greg Brown, ©1983. performed here as a duet with yours truly providing the second vocal. I managed to replicate Willie Nelson's voice so well on this track that it is hard to tell them apart. Willie's vocal is mastered on the left speaker while mine is on the right. I love this song, especially as it has some fabulous guitar breaks from my favourite guitarist, Carlos Santana, child of Mexico. What a great song to sing.

David Morrison's Music: I Want To Be Loved By You
"I WANT TO BE LOVED BY YOU" PERFORMED BY MARILYN MONROE AND DAVID MORRISON
"I Want To Be Loved by You," written by Herbert Stothart, Harry Ruby and Bert Kalmar," ©1928 is performed here with my voice added as a second lead vocal. The video clip is from the film "Some Like it Hot" with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Joe E. Brown making an appearance during the instrumental break. As with many jazz singers, Marilyn's vocal moves from the beat to the back beat, most often coming in late, so it was hard to predict which way she would go in order to keep in sync with her. I did a fairly decent job of this lovely song.

Very satisfied with the finished result though, it was worth the pain to be able to sing with such a tremendous talent and feel right at the heart of the action x
