Hope Deferred
Proverbs 13:12 says this: Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Hope deferred can look like many things: a prayer of salvation for a loved one that continues unanswered year after year, an agonizing job search filled with endless interviews and rejections, a long-term battle with cancer or any disease, or one miscarriage after another. As we eagerly hope for something important, and it keeps being postponed, the longing we feel can make our heart sick. BUT GOD!!!
Delay is NOT denial.
Hebrews 10:23 in GNT says: Let us hold on firmly to the hope we profess, because we can trust God to keep his promise.

Redeeming the Time
While existing in eternity, Father God created time and then stepped over into time. God has given us enough time to carry out His purposes for us. If we don’t have enough time, it is not that God has not given us enough time, but that we need to make good use of our time by redeeming the time.
Ephesians 5:15-16 instructs us to: See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Colossians 4:5 directs us to: Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

Imagine That: Use Your Imagination
Father God created us to see both with our eyes and our imagination. God has given us the gift of imagination. The imagination is the power source of life.
Ephesians 3:20 in The Message Translation says this: God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
A godly imagination paints a picture out of the Word of God. The imagination is key for us because sometimes we have to be able to see something that we have never seen in order to go where we have never been. Whatever you want to see in your life, you must see it in your mind first.
Use your imagination to pre-play in your mind the miracles your heart desires from the Lord. Coupled with the Word of God, your imagination is a tremendous thing.
