Oak Coffee Table Legs
First video of a small series making a coffee table out of Oak plywood. Here I ripped 8 strips 3"x20" and cut a 45° on one side of all 8 pieces. I then glued and nailed 2 pieces together along the 45° to create a 4 90° pieces for legs. I check the angle of my blade with a digital angle finder and make sure my fence is parallel to the blade by measuring off the front and back of the blade at the tip of a tooth closest to my fench. I find it to cut better with 1/32nd"-1/64th" wider at the rear of the fence. Part 2 coming up! Thank you for watching!!!

Custom Birdfeeder Part 3
Here is the custom bird feeder for a gentleman I made. The top flips open to make filling easier and makes it ideal to mount on a post as opposed to hanging it. I used high quality ten ply plywood and three quarter pine. The plexiglass still has the protective sheets on them so when the customer removes them after shipping, it will be clear. Next it will be getting a few coats of spar urethane and then packed and shipped. Thank you for watching and if you're interested in a feeder or bird house or other wood type items, let me know and we can get in contact and discuss what you want and a price.

Custom Bird Feeder Part 2- Results Of The Vice Setup
Here is the product of jointing 4 smaller boards to make 2 bigger boards for the roof of the custom bird feeder. They turned out perfect and with a little sanding you can't even tell they are 2 separate pieces joined together. Thanks for watching. Part 3 coming up.

Custom Bird Feeder Part 1
This is the set up to join a couple pieces of wood to make the roof for a custom birdfeeder. I was contacted by a gentleman out of state to recreate the birdfeeder he has in his yard. He sent me pictures and a few measurements and using both his dimensions and pictures, I was able to create a pattern using my digital angle finder and a scaling technique to determine sizes and angles. In this vice setup I have 4 pieces of 1"x5" about 18 inches long and 2 are jointed together with a 1/4" groove cut in the middle of the boards and I have 1/4" plywood glued in the grooves to act as biscuits to hold the joints strong, making 2 larger boards out of 4 smaller boards. Tomorrow I will be undoing the clamps and proceeding with the project. Thanks for watching!

2 Coyotes Crossing Front Yard At Night In Snow Storm
I apologize if its hard to see as it was at night and I don't have a very good camera to film through the window when its dark out. I was getting ready to lay down for bed and something told me to look out the front window and sure enough, there was 2 coyotes walking across the front yard. I live in a rural town in Western New York and it isn't uncommon to see coyotes, especially large packs of them 30 to 40 strong. When theh go off and howl at night it will give you goosebumps hearing that many dogs out there. This is why we don't let or dogs stay outside alone anymore. Chances are they would make it in a fight but we love them too much to put them in that position. Its weird how sometimes you get a feeling to do something and catch something happening because of that feeling. Thanks for watching.

Handcrafted LED Accent Light
Quick video of the handcrafted LED accent light I made today. Its three quarter by three quarter pine I ripped down and slotted for plexiglass inserts. The light is part of a rgb LED light strip that I cut down to size. It operates on 5 volts DC and plugs into any USB style phone charger. It was a fun quick project. Thanks for watching.

Fixing An Old Fan Remote With Buttons From An Old Phone!!
Quick video on how to repair a worn out button on a fan remote. I had an old cordless house phone that was going to the garage and I took the rubber buttons off that were close to the size I needed. I put the phone buttons in the spot where the old worn out ones were on the fan remote and it works like a charm! This fan remote is 30 plus years old and the light button was plumb worn out. This quick little repair saved me about 50 dollars for a new remote! Thanks for watching and have a great day!

Installing Side Vice On Work Bench
Here is a quick little video of installing a side vice on the front of my work bench. It is small and compact yet plenty strong. The parts are repurposed threaded rod and pieces from a store bought bench. This little vice is perfect for all your holding needs. It opens up to 15 inches and can accommodate the width allowed by the surroundings. I use Miller M18 and M12 Fuel cordless tools. Thanks for watching!

Cardinals, Finches And Blue Jays Waiting For Their Turn At A Feeder
There was a whole flock of birds in the tree and at the feeders this afternoon. There must have been 20 birds out there between the tree and the feeders. We have a woodpecker that makes an appearance once in a while. Hopefully the humming birds make a return this year. We haven't seen our Blue Heron in awhile either, maybe it's just the weather. Another beautiful winter day in New York!!! Thanks for watching and have a blessed day!

Small Engine Carb Cleaning
Did you ever go to start your snow blower or lawn mower and have it only run with the choke on? This video shows you the simple steps to clean your small engine carburetor. The most common issue with small engines now a days is ethanol fuel gumming up in the fuel bowl and venturi (fuel jet) in these small carbs. Take a piece of wire and shove it through the small holes located inside the fuel bowl. 9 out of 10 times if you need the choke to run your small engine without a fuel pump, these little holes are clogged. Simple quick fix that will save you 100s of dollars in repair bills!! Thanks for watching!!!

KOWOOD Router Bit Bends Itself And Bent My Router Shaft! Update
Update!!! KOWOOD customer service reached out to me after I emailed them and in their broken English reply that started with calling me "dear" and said the tongue bit from their tongue and groove router bit set is for bench use only. After explaining that it wasn't used it was merely tested to see if it was safe to use with the router in my hands, they still haven't replied back to me. I would not recommend KOWOOD Router bits. They may have good sets but the risk of getting an inferior set is too risky. Router bit failure is very dangerous, this happened at just under 16,000 rpm and could have been alot worse. I bought them from Amazon to see if they were worth the 32 dollars and no they are not. The chances of getting a bad set may be low but that is not a risk worth taking. You may end up injured or with a broken router like I did. The shaft is now bent and has a terrible vibration to it making it useless. Even if i could get over the vibration, it will never cut true or as it should again. Thanks for watching.

Have A Broken Harbor Freight Compressor? Check Out This Quick Fix!
Have a harbor freight 3 gallon oilless compressor not building pressure? Check out this video before you toss it in the scrap pile! This Central Pneumatic compressor wouldn't build pressure and it was an easy quick fix anyone can do! Remove the 4 screws for the cover and the 2 screws for the handle and take them off. Inside there will be a large collar nut that holds the regulator to the tank. Make sure that collar nut is tight and check all the other joints and retighten the screws on the compressor head. As long as you didn't burn up your motor or over heat your compressor pump, chances are its just this simple little problem that's easily fixable!!! After tightening mine, it worked good as new! Thanks for watching!

Heavy Lake Effect Snow In New York
Heavy lake effect snow in Erie County NY. Its not coming down very hard but they are big heavy lake effect snow flakes. If you're not familiar with lake effect snow, it is snow caused by the warm, not iced over great lakes. When the cold dry air comes over the lakes that are warmer than the air and not frozen, the clouds pick up the moisture and drop it as lake effect snow. Lake effect is different than regular snow in the way it is formed and the size of the flakes and the significant amount of snow fall that can build very quickly. Heavy snow bands are typical with lake effect that can drop 6 plus inches an hour! We've had over 7 feet of snow in a 12 hour period before and in a typical lake snow event, it isn't uncommon to receive multiple feet of snow rather than inches. If it picks up more, I will get a video of a heavier snow fall. Thanks for watching.

Part 2 Free Delta Table Saw
Part 2 of going over my free road side find Delta 10 inch table saw. The output bearing chatters but it is still good. Here I put the motor back together and reinstall it into the saw and give it a test. Its still noisey but plenty powerful enough for a free saw. Its perfect for work out in the field where precision isn't necessary. Thanks for watching!

KOWOOD Router Bit Self Destructs, Ruins My Router
I bought a 2 piece KOWOOD quarter inch tongue and groove router bit set from Amazon for 25 dollars, 7 off original price with Prime. It was delivered this afternoon and upon turning on my router to make sure the bit wasn't going to explode, it bent itself and bent my router shaft! I turned it on after securely tightening the bit all the way down into the collet, set the depth on my router plate, set the rpm to 16,000 rpm and a second after turning it on it bent itself. The instant it happened I let off the trigger but the damage was already done. It bent the bit, bent my shaft and took out 3 screw holes for the round plate for mounting. My router is now damaged and not able to be used. I am very upset and I have emailed the company with the video and a picture and set up the return to Amazon. I don't look for freebies but I want my router replaced! This is unacceptable!!! After the first one bent, I put the tongue bit in and tried it. My router now vibrates and does not cut right right. I took the bit out and turned my router on and it still vibrates. This router was my father's and can not be replaced. I would not recommend getting anything KOWOOD. I figured I'd try these because they were a deal and had good reviews. The problem with cheap stuff is it can be hit or miss and this was a huge miss... Thanks for watching. I am now without a router.

Tearing Into FREE 10 Inch Delta Table Saw
I found this 10 inch Delta table saw on the side of the road and stopped to pick it up. Its been sitting for about 2 years until tonight when I decide to tear into the motor after turning it on and it vibrating terribly and making excessive noise. I believe the problem is the output shaft bearing. I can feel the bad spot when I spin it in my hands. This is part 1 of the tear down and I will be putting it back together and testing it in the next video. Thanks for watching! Any ideas or specific items or topics you would like to see, let me know in the comments and I will do my best to make a video about what you want. Have a wonderful day!
