Our garden is doing great, even though we had a hail storm a couple of weeks ago. We have a few tomatoes getting ripe now, and we are harvesting some peppers, eggplants, potatoes, and carrots. We get a storm like this every few years it seems. This one had 70 mile and hour winds, lots of rain, and lots of hail. We lost a couple of trees, and it shredded a lot of the plants in the garden. This year I decided to grow some herbs in some grow bags. I expanded our grow bag collection this year so I would have room for a few more things. The herbs are growing in 5 gallon grow bags. I found this old hollow log in some free firewood several years ago. It has worked out great for growing Petunia flowers in. Even with your best planning, sometimes we can't get those tomato plants in the ground when we would like.
